TRAINING PROPOSAL
TITLE: 4 DAY TRAINING ON REDIFINING AND RESKILLING THE PROFESSIONAL OF TEACHERS IN THE NEW NORMAL
EDUCATION: A SCHOOL – BASED LEARNING ACTION CELL (SLAC) OF GRADE 8 DEPARTMENT S/Y 2021-2022, this training aims to:

I OBJECTIVE:

 To enhance the teaching – learning process that will lead to improved learning among the students in the new normal.
 To help the teachers to get acquainted with modern techniques in education.
 To enable teachers to acquire new understanding and instructional skills.

II RATIONALE:

This Training program is a process by which teachers are taught with skills and given the necessary knowledge or attitude to enable
them to carry out their responsibilities to the required standard and to undertake greater and more demanding roles for effective and efficient
learning process.

This School – based Learning Action Cell (SLAC) is important to improve the quality of education. Teachers are crucial in implementing
educational reforms in accordance with the aspiration of the Department of Education. The success of school curriculum is closely related to its
effective implementation. Teachers have to be personally aware of the school curriculum, improve and enhance the necessary skills to interpret
the concept changes accurately and to implement modified curriculum according to its requirements, aims and objectives. As such, the need
for in-service training or staff development program for teachers plays an essential role in successful education reform. It also serves as a
bridge between prospective and experienced educators to meet the new challenges of guiding students towards higher standards of learning
and self-development.

Session 3: Updates on Different School Forms Session 4: Video Presentation (Using Filmora)
Session 5: Interactive Online Assessment (Using NearPod)
Session 6: Rules that Great Teachers Know about Classroom Behavior
Session 7: Learners Information System (LIS) Updates
Session 8: Mental Health and Psychological First Aid
Session 9: Oral Prophylaxis (Oral Health)
Session 10: Grading System and Assessment of Learning
Session 11: Meeting the New Challenges of the New Normal in the School Education
Session 12: Closing Program

Time: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Venue: Sta. Justina National High School- Grade 8 Oriole Classroom

Strategies:
1. Face to Face workshop with13 participants.
2. Physical distancing and other health protocols shall be observed throughout the sessions.
3. Registration online to collate the participant’s email address.
4. Email address shall be used to facilitate the submission of outputs.
