SUBJECT: VIRTUAL SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL (SLAC) ON LEARNING DELIVERY MODALITY
COURSE 2 PRACTICUM PORTFOLIO FOR TEACHERS

In line with the implementation of Republic Act No. 10533, or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013,
the Department of Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed policy on The Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a K to
12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the
Improvement of Teaching and Learning. Through this policy, the DepEd fully supports the continuing
professional development of its teaching personnel based on the principle of lifelong learning and the view of
the teaching profession as one that “requires teachers expert knowledge and specialized skills, acquired and
maintained through rigorous and continuing study” (UNESCO 1966).

In adherence to these guidelines, Muntindilaw Elementary School will conduct a School Learning Action Cell
(SLAC) for School Year 2020-2021 on June 1, 2021 at 8:00 in the morning using the platform Google Meet.

2. The purposes of School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) are as follows:

a. To strengthen competence of 43 or 100% of the teachers through continuous professional development.

b. To guide participants in understanding what the course is all about.

d. To help them manage the teaching learning process in the modalities.

e. To keep teachers abreast of new knowledge appropriate to new normal form of education.

3. Participants to this training are all teachers of MDES and the school head.

4. Attached are the different Committee, List of Training Staff and Facilitators, Training Matrix, and Program of
Work for reference purposes.

5. For the information, guidance and compliance of all concerned.

6. Widest dissemination of this Memorandum is earnestly desired.

In Adherence to this guidelines and to promote quality basic education, Muntindilaw Elementary School will
conduct School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) for School Year 2020-2021 on September 18,21-23, 2020 at
1:00 in the afternoon using the platform Google Meet to all teaching personnel. This is to help teachers
improve the teaching-learning process that will lead to improve learning among the pupils, to nurture
successful teachers, and to enable teachers to support each other to continuously improve their content and
pedagogical knowledge, practice, skills and attitudes.

II. PROGRAM LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Terminal Objective:

At the end of the training, the participants will be able to apply the course intended for them.

Enabling Objectives:

At the end of the session, teachers will be able to:
