Project Design
I. TITLE: 2021 School Learning Action Cell (SLAC)
“Mentoring and Improved to make a Change in the New Normal”

II. RATIONALE:
In DepEd Order 35, S, 2016, a Learning Action Cell is a group of teachers who engages in
collaboration learning session to solve shared challenges encountered in the school facilitated by the
school head or designated LAC leader.
LAC will become the school-based communities’ practices that are positive, caring
and safe spaces. The key aspects of the process are ongoing collaborative learning problem solving
within a shared domain of professional interest, self-directed learning reflected practice leading to action
and self-evaluation and collective competence.
School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) for teachers aims to develop a place where
children, teachers, parents and all of the stakeholders are working together to ensure that the children
need and rights for functional education are sustained. It also provides teachers with active learning
experiences to help them practice and internalize effective teaching learning process, and also to support
teachers in organizing and managing their classes and lessons effectively and efficiently and ensure the
achievement of learning outcomes. Technology is just a tool, in terms of getting the kids working
together and motivating them the teacher is the most important.
San Isidro Elementary School will conduct School Learning Cell Action Cell (SLAC) in support of
continuing professional development. This Advocacy of Department of Education implies that every
teacher should be properly guided and equipped with the know how of teaching and learning process
through revisiting and reviewing some areas or concerned in performing the duties and responsibilities of
an effective teachers.
Through the LAC session the participants and the proponent are expected to:

1. Provides teachers knowledge on preparation of instructional Methods Strategies and technologies to


meet the needs of the learners based on the strategies in implementing Distance Learning Modalities
(DLDM) for SY: 2021-2022

2. Equipping 21st Century Teaching with strategies to learned and develop of instructional videos in the
New Normal.

3. To enable teachers to support each other to continuously improved their content pedagogical
knowledge practice, skills and attitudes.
4. To nurture successful learners.

III. OBJECTIVES:
The SLAC session aims to:
 Discuss the process of making an Instructional Videos Application
based from the strategies in implementing Distance Learning
Modalities for SY: 2021-2022.
 Demonstrate in making an instructional video lesson using Canva,
Power point, and Kine master, Filmora X.
 Encourages partisans to make their own video.
