VIRTUAL DISTRICT TRAINING ON LITERACY INSTRUCTION

(BIRTUWAL NA PANDISTRITONG PAGSASANAY SA PAGTUTURONG PANLITERASI)

1. In line with DepEd Memorandum No. 173, s. 2019 “Hamon: Bawat Bata Bumabasa
(3Bs Initiative) and Division Memorandum No. 210, s. 2020, Bocaue District will
conduct Virtual Distict Training on Literacy Instruction (Birtuwal na Pandistritong
Pagsasanay sa Pagtuturong Panliterasi) via Google Meet on January 20-22, 2020,
8:00-5:00 PM.

2. This training aims to:

2.1 Enhance content knowledge, understanding ang pedagogical skills on literacy
development in English and Filipino;
2.2 Develop an organized and feasible action/implementation plan for the school-
wide training and school-based Learning Action Cell (LAC) on literacy instruction;
and
2.3 Instill strong commitment and advocacy towards literacy.

3. The participants to this training are:

3.1 Thirty (30) School Filipino and English Coordinators
3.2 Sixty (60) K to 3 Teachers (1 per grade level)

4. Enclosure No. 1 contains the Training Matrix, Resource Speakers, and Work
Committee.

5. Compliance with and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
