1. This school announces the conduct of HOMEROOM AND GENERAL PTA

MEETING on September 2, 2022 Friday, from 1:00pm to 4:00 in the afternoon at the
school covered court.
2. The aim of this activity is to encourage parents to provide time for the welfare of
their children by attending meeting and being informed on school programs and
activities.
3. The following are the agenda:

1. Election of Homeroom and General PTA officers
2. Classroom rules and regulations
3. Class programs
6. Other matters
4. Immediate and wide dissemination of this memorandum is desired.

Republic Act No. 9155 known as Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001 provides
among others the strengthening of School-Based Management (SBM). By further devolving the
governance of education to schools, empowering school heads and non-teaching personnel in
expanding community participation and involvement and making the delivery of educational service
to the learners more responsive, efficient and effective through an enhanced school planning and
improvement that lays down specific interventions through initiated projects in schools.
In consonance with the Act, all teaching and non-teaching personnel are encouraged to
create/innovate school-based initiated projects geared towards the improvement of the teaching-
learning process and school governance.

PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES:
Communication is the greatest tool that we have in order to understand one another. Having a
conference with the pupils’ parents enable them to share their voice and allowing the teachers to provide
better opportunities, learning more about the attitudes and behaviors of each pupil. Schools will not be
able to achieve success every school year without the cooperation of the parents and the stakeholders.
Without the cooperation of involved individuals, an educational institution will greatly fail.
With regards to the significance of strengthening cooperation, the Meysulao Elementary School
conducted a general PTA meeting led by our kind and innovative school head, Mr. Robert S. Lovendino.
The meeting started with a prayer to ask for guidance and wisdom regarding the concerns and
information to be shared. Mr. Lovendino discussed the mission and vision of the school and reiterated
the roles and responsibilities of involved personnel. The school head also pointed out that the school,
together with the community, continuously aims to improve to give the children their deserve best quality
of education. As the school allocates amount from the given budget and earnings from the canteen to
sustain the vital expenses, the school head reminded the parents and guardians to constantly support
the institution to provide quality education. Moreover, the former GPTA president, Mrs. Daisy Dondoy,
reported the annual GPTA projects and accomplishments of the previous officers. The GPTA officers,
indeed, shouldered a big role for the success of the previous school year despite of the obstacles and
challenges encountered.
The school head, Mr. Lovendino, led the nomination and election of GPTA officers for the school year
2022-2023. The parents and guardians voted for the individuals who they think are responsible and
engaging enough to implement projects and fulfill responsibilities. The GPTA officers for this school year
are the following:
