PROPOSAL ON IN-SERVICE TRAINING 2020
I. Title of the Training: 2020 IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS
GURO: Gearing Up to Upgrading the teachers’
performances towards Resounding Optimal results
II. Rationale:
The pandemic of Covid-19 brought about many changes in our educational
system and the face of education in the Philippines. Teachers have to cope up with
these changes by equipping and upgrading themselves with necessary skills and
tools needed to have remarkable performances amidst the pandemic.
In relation to this, Lazaro Francisco Integrated School will conduct series of
virtual trainings this INSET week for the professional development of the teachers
and give support to their mental health and enhance their spiritual life to meet
the demands for empowered teachers.
III. Objectives:
The objectives of this training are:
1. Rekindle the fire of commitment and dedication of teachers in the profession
by providing mental health and spiritual support.
2. Review the different policies, guidelines and orders related to the teaching
profession as well as the Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC)
3. Equip the teachers, administrator and staff with necessary skills in
communication, music, SLM writing and ICT tools in education
4. Revisit the assessment guidelines and computation of grades in MELC
IV. Methodology:
A. Date: December 14 – 16, 2020
B. Venue: Virtual Room (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
C. Participants: 125 LFIS Teachers and 1 School Head
V. Budgetary Requirements: Php 6,000.00 for the Resource Speakers Honoraria.
