FINAL EXAMINATION
1. There will be at least 2-3 quizzes for each term. Short quizzes shall be given
after every topic as time permits.
2. There will be at least 2-3 activities for each term. Short activities shall be
given after every topic as time permits.
3. There will be one major exam every term. No make-up examination shall be
Course Requirements given for any missed exams or quizzes without valid reasons.
4. There will be an individual report for each student and are expected to
report during their report schedule.
5. Students are highly encouraged to participate during class discussions. Class
participation will have a significant effect in the computation of the grade.
6. Their will be a group project to be submitted at the end of semester.
Grading System
1. The students will be evaluated based on their performance on the exercises
that will be given to them. Each student should comply with the course
requirements, and passed the quizzes, seat works and major examinations given
within the duration of the semester.
2. The following grading system will be used HCI subject for the semester.
The School does not condone academic cheating or plagiarism in any form. The
faculty is expected to uphold and support the highest academic standards in this
matter.
Definition of Cheating
Plagiarism is defined as the act of using the ideas or work of another person or
persons as if they were one's own without giving proper credit to the source.
Such an act is not plagiarism if it is ascertained that the ideas were arrived at
through independent reasoning or logic or where the thought or idea is common
knowledge. Acknowledgement of an original author or source must be made
through appropriate references; e.g., quotation marks, footnotes, or
commentary. Examples of plagiarism include but are not limited to the following:
the submission of a work, either in part or in whole completed by another; failure
to give credit for ideas, statements, facts or conclusions which rightfully belong to
another; failure to use quotation marks (or other means of setting apart, such as
the use of indentation or a different font size) when quoting directly from
another, whether it be a paragraph, a sentence, or even a part thereof; close and
lengthy paraphrasing of another's writing without credit or originality; use of
another's project or programs or part thereof without giving credit.
