PBL is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period

el horario que se divide en cuatro franjas: talleres (2h), ámbitos (12h), habilidades (6h) y proyectos
(6/8h) a la semana.

Los ámbitos es lo que entendemos por materias convencionales. Las sesiones comienzan por que los
alumnos recuerden lo que se ha dado en la última. A continuación el profesor explica los conocimientos
teóricos con el sistema que considere oportuno (clase magistral, coloquio…). Se deja un tiempo al final
para dudas y se plantea qué deben estudiar en casa los alumnos y prepararse para la siguiente sesión.

Las sesiones de habilidades es trabajo individual de cada alumno. Realizan su trabajo sobre cada área a
su ritmo.

Los proyectos se plantean pensando en una motivación inicial para que los alumnos despierten interés.
Para guiar a través de este tipo de aprendizaje los profesores plantean una serie de actividades y una
presentación final. Para cada proyecto se facilita a los alumnos un dossier que incluye el tema del
proyecto, los objetivos que se van a trabajar, las diferentes propuestas de trabajo y el tiempo que van a
conllevar, y los criterios de evaluación que se seguirán.

Cada taller dura un mes, se trabaja la sensibilidad y la expresividad, los alumnos se agrupan según sus
intereses, mezclándose los distintos niveles.
