4. According to me Airtel has better recruitment and selection process among two organizations.

My statement has been explained in the below________

At first Airtel gives job advertisements in their career website or LinkedIn whenever there is a
vacancy in the company. After that when authorities collect the applicant’s cv, resume they are
being sent to the resource unit so that the audit group can choose the best applicants for the job.
This audit group actually help the company to shortlisting the applications and they do it very
cautiously. When the applications are being examined very carefully there is less chance to
choose non deserving applicants. The recruitment audit group make sure the shortlisting
applications are well deserving and all the information are correct which has been given by them.
After that VC of the resource unit gives a final check to make sure the applications are perfect
according the company’s requirements and there is no chance of negligent hiring.

After that, chosen applicants are being notified by sending email for the next step. In the next
level, company takes written test where they are being judged according to their answer.
Company tests their written ability in English, basic scientific knowledge, mathematical ability
and analytical ability. Through this test the recruiter will know about the written communication
of the candidates; how rich they are in using the proper grammar, words, sentence making.
Which will ultimately help them when they will be in a meeting with foreign clients or investors
to expand their business. If the employees are well known and skilled in written communication
it is very easier to convince clients and customers in a very effective way and also research
papers can be carried out professionally. Then basic science and mathematical questions are
given so that the interviewer can judge the candidates through their depth of knowledge in
calculation and science. The critical analysis helps to find the candidates who can think critically
and solve problems; it’s the reflection of mind, can tell a lot about the person’s thinking ability.
If a person is capable of thinking vey critically then it can help the organization to detect future
problems or future outcomes of any decision. That’s why written test is taken to test and judge
the person’s communicational ability and critical thinking ability. After the written rest, the
company shortlist the applicants and choose the best one.

After that, chosen candidates are called for interviews. In the interview panel Airtel recruiters ask
situational question to the candidates. Through situational question they will be able to monitor
the reactions of the candidates and decision-making knowledge. Situational question in interview
helps to determine how a specific candidate react in a particular situation? Are they capable
enough to take decision which will be a beneficial to the company as well as to motivate other
employees? In interview recruiters can notice the person’s body language and can judge if he/she
is giving any false information or not. In written test it is not possible to test a person’s
personality or his verbal communication but through interview all the confusions can be clarified
and right person for the for the position can be chosen very easily.

After that they take clinical test of the candidates which will help to make sure they are fit and
fine for the job and also to make sure they don’t carry out any bad habit like drug addiction. So
that a sound minded and a healthy candidate can be chosen for the job and the chosen person is
actually fit for the post.

Airtel company makes sure there is no scope of negligent hiring by carefully examine the
information and also by taking their NID and other papers to check their (employees)
identification, background checking. And also take written and verbal tests so that a perfect
person can be hired. So, the company also makes sure about the person job fit which is very
important about any job. Then finally after the joining new employees are called for meeting
with exiting ones so that they can adopt the organization culture and environment.

For all these reasons, I think Airtel has the better recruitment and selection process which will
help the company to get the best ones to perform the job.
