1. Is painting just an imitation of nature?

For me painting or art is not an imitation of

nature for the reason that it is not made by
natural occurrence. In other words, it is made
by man and is just an artificial construct.
Paintings are created to convey messages or
feelings. It is established to showcase the
experiences of an artist, or simply when one
person just feels like to do so or any kind of
reasons that you can think of. However, nature
can be considered as an art but not the other
way around. Nature will always be supreme
and native and art will always be artificial and
man-made. Art is beautiful but it can never
surpass the intrinsic beauty of nature.

2. Can paintings represent possible

version of reality?

Yes, all paintings in the world has its own

meaning, value and context. Every artist put
their feelings and idea in making their artworks
that transform into something that mirrors the
surrounding or emotion of the artist. That
particular painting reflects the vision of the
artist in reality. So yes, paintings represent
version of reality.
