“An Art that Creates Art”

There’s a quote that says “The beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”. Mostly, the
appreciation of ones beauty depends on individual as how they looked at it, as how they
moved there emotion, as how it caught there attention and as how they attracted on it.
This is one of the wrong understanding of how appreciation be done to others. It means
to us that the appreciation deserves only to those whose there type, to those who
caught there attention, to those who have the feeling of it. In fact, if we follow this, we
can't appreciate the other creation or the others work. It gives false meaning of
appreciation. But we cannot please each other, we cannot force them to appreciate us,
we cannot force each other. This is the answer of the lingering question that the movie
leave me. Not all people see our beauty, not all people will understand, and not all
people see the efforts we gave. And it is when we die, the appreciation comes. It is
when we die, many will appreciate us. It is when we die, the people moved their
emotion. The questions is where are they when we are alive? Why they didn't
appreciate us when we are alive? Why appreciation comes out only when we die? Why
we need to have a bloody experiences in order to be appreciated?

As I have watched the movie, there are many things I've learned and
remembered in my life. Let me express my impression to the movie and to the
importance of Vincent Van Gogh. The movie impress me in the life of Vincent using the
pieces of art, the moving art. It was my first time seeing a movie that is animated and
true paintings. It bites me and pops out interestingly. The movie was beautifully filmed it
gives me amazement. It gives the spirit of art. The movie shows the beauty of art not
only for that but I think it is also the way appreciating Vincent in his works as a greatest
impressionist. Vincent Van Gogh teaches me that whatever I do, do it anyway, do
what’s my hearts desire, show what can I do, show on how the way I moved others
without expecting for exchange because the time will come that my efforts and hard
works will be known. Van Gogh's gives me an inspiration and courage to express, to
imagine, to be true to myself and appreciate the beauty of creation. The passion that he
had, the courage he showed resulted on a great victory of his works. He reminds me of
following what's my hearts desire and tells me that keep looking around and imagining!

us when we’re still living in this vineyard. But whatever the world tells us just keep
going, do not surrender, strive for better, do what makes us happy as long as it is from
our hearts because there’s a perfect time for everything. Vincent tells us the beauty
behind all things. How wonderful this artist is. As what we commonly know, most of the
artist making a piece of work according of the problem they face, the emotion they felt. It
is also the same for this father of modern art, he speaks through his paintings. Most
people forgot what beauty is and forgot also the meaning of it. Vincent reminds us that
in every way we do let us put life in it, expressing what we have inside. Moreover, the
film teach everyone about the famous artist. Indeed Vincent is a great person and artist.

The movie of Vincent Van Gogh labored more than a hundred artists and
chooses painstaking pieces of art more than about sixty five thousand paintings just to
make this video. In my own opinion the hundred artists chooses that, it was because the
film trying to do is to look the true-based life of the artist and looking beyond his art.
This paintings as I take a research it is actually true paintings, a real labor of love to the
individual involved. Van Gogh really inspires me to become an artist. But there are
questions that bothered me, what makes to be an artist? In my case, we are all an
artists, we have this creativity in us, we have this longing, imagination, a dream, we are
all have this ability. In order to share it with others we need to discover it first. In talking
about art in is not bounded only on paintings. There are many kinds of art to consider
ourselves as an artists. There are these kinds; painting, sculpture, literature,
architecture, cinema, music and theater and many more. In my own opinion to become
such an artist, has the creativeness, impressionist, deeper imagination/a dreamer, deep
thinker, passion, observant, introvert and extrovert, self-motivated, open-minded,
sensitive, fun, and original—being true to oneself. In my own, those are the
characteristics and qualities to be an artists if it has the requirements. But I think to be
an artists is free, as long as one has the courage to do. It doesn't mean to be an artist
is to show in the public what one is doing. It is not that about, it is about expressing
ones emotion and beauty of things. It is a kind also of speaking through art. Let me
describe the art as “the emotion and thought that speaks”.
 Moreover, what makes a piece of work a piece or art? It is not always clear to
know that this piece of work is an art. I think it depends on how the individual looks on it
because the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. There are many works that are like
crazy looking but behind of the work are the efforts, love, hard work was dedicated on it.
In my case, I only describe a piece of work as a good art if it has the
harmony/aesthetics/beauty in it. But even if it is not good in its looks, still it needs
appreciation for the one who created behind that has his efforts and love. All that we
have, it can be personal or communal things are all arts. Even this world we live-in is an
art, the nature of it is art, the universe is an art. For me, as long as we used it, we see it,
we find beauty in it, it is an art. We only need a pause, looking around, the things we
used, simply reflect upon, one will notice that we are naturally surrounded a pieces of
arts. The works of many peoples that need to be appreciated and most of all the loving
work of God in his created beings. Indeed art is everywhere, may be we can say that it
is just a small thing, but let us remember that appreciating small things is the start in
appreciating big things.

Inevitably, I am an artist and also an art of itself, an “art that creates”. I am an art
of my being, my entirety. Why? Because God made me. He is the principal designer
and I am his special art. He created me according to his image and likeness. That’s why
I considered myself as an art, an art that creates art. God created me as his art, I also
created my own art. I have made many artworks but not on paintings. I believe that art
doesn't bound itself on paintings. There are many kinds of arts. As I said, myself is
already an art, a special art. As long as I “think” I can be an artist. Maybe not famously
known, only those people who knows me knows my ability and capacity as an artist. But
I didn't say that I am that great artist, yes I am a great artist but only myself knows. As I
end this, as I said earlier, “I am an art of myself, an art that creates art”.
