How do you use arts? Give your insights

Ans .. I use arts as a way of expressing myself in a creative manner , in a way that other people also
enjoy and relate to my creation, most importantly appreciate arts and share it with others

Why do we need to know the different functions of Art?

Ans.. We need to know the different functions of Art in order to truly grasp it’s essense and
appreciate it’s beauty we need to know the functions in order to create arts not just to please the
eyes but also to move the hearts of the people

Ans.
Personal Function of Art – It is highly subjective. It vehicles for the expression and communication of
feelings and ideas. One example is making paintings to entertain oneself be happy.

Social Function of Art – It seeks or tends to influence the collective behavior of people. It is created
to be used or seen in public situations. One example is taking a picture of a beggar on the streets and
the situation of the slums in the Philippines to show the poverty and hardship our fellow Filipino
been going through.

Physical Function of Art – In order to serve physical purpose. An art is created to use in a specific
event of situation .
Example an helmet is designed in a way that it protects the head of the driver when crashes
happen , And phones are designed in a way where it is convenient and easily be put in the pockets

Philosophical Perspective on Art
“There is no original art” Express your thought

There is no original art but there is authenticity ang genuineness today’s time even artist we need
something as a reference in order to create another art, that’s something magical, similar yet unique
to the original. It is part of art to appreciate art , And Create art , and that says a lot to look around
you find something that interest you appreciate it and create an art of it for, art is universal and
eyeryone is an artist in their own ways

Art as an Imitation – Art is an imitation of reality like a painting

Art as a representation – Arts can be represented in all genres wether happy, sad , tragic or
fullfilment

Art as a disinterested judgement – Arts is not bias , like the saying goes beauty lies at the beholder,
and art is universal what might seem ugly to you might be beautiful to others, one thing is clear we
should appreciate art

Arts as communication of emotion – It is the expressway of sharing our emotions like an song that
will move mountains a poem, story , an epic that will inspire people, and an opera that will make the
audience sing , and a song that will make the people smila and dance
