Solid Waste Management: Waste management includes the activities and actions
required to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes the
collection, transport, treatment and disposal of waste, together with monitoring and
regulation of the waste management process.

VIII. Beneficiaries:
The residents of Puting Bato West Calaca Batangas and especially the
environment to became beautiful environment. And also to the next generations who will
live in our barangay.
IX. Rationale of the Project:
The proposed project which is "Oplan Linis Program" will be conducted in my
barangay because I observe in my barangay that some parts of the barangay are still
flooded so I want to help protect the environment in my barangay through cleaning for
the occurrence of typhoons that cause of flooding. All residents will benefit from this
project Because by having typhoons can prevent flooding in some parts of our barangay
and also prevent air pollution and it will also help the environment to make it more
beautiful and more attractive.

XI. Objectives
The main objectives of this project are:
 To have an action to main problem of community
XII. Description of the project
We came up to this project because we want to help my barangay to have a clean
community and to maintain the cleanliness.
XIII. Strategies and Methods of Implementation
Casalla, John Christian and the barangay council/Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of
our community will clean up every Monday within 3weeks.

To perform this project properly it needs the help of residents and officials. We can
see that this project is also expensive, I can save my own money to have a budget for
the project I will do and I can also ask for help from residents and officials so that they
can also help me to have a budget. I will budget my savings properly and I will buy the
important and necessary items to us.
XV. Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanics
The “OPLAN LINIS” project is monitored and checked by Casalla John
Christian S. and the barangay official. In our hour’s session we will make sure that this
project has an improvement. So that we can check if this project really helped the
community to maintain the cleanliness. If this proved that it really helps, I will do the
cleaning session every week by help of the sanguniang kabataan/ in my barangay.

XVI. Plans for Ensuring the Sustainability of the Project


The Oplan Linis Project is a program which aims to sustain cleanliness and beauty
in the barangay through program institutionalization and community participation.
