Project Description:

The scope of this project is to maintain the history database of the client‘s
business process. Sales Analysis is for orders placed by different users, orders
from different places, and based on different products. The system has a
database which stores information about sales, profits and contacts of customers.
Using this existing database, the system should analyze the sales and profit and
generates reports for Sales and Profits in month wise and year wise.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Maintenance of Oracle Databases as per the requirement.

 Creating and monitoring the different tablespaces like user, Undo,
temporary tablespaces.
 Created new user accounts, created profiles, roles and assigned them to
different users.
 Database links were created to access the data from remote databases
 Implemented Partitioning on huge tables to improve the performance and
reduce the maintenance to finite window operations
 Transported tablespace from production database and plugged-in it in
development database for the usage of developers
 Taking Differential backups of the database using Recovery Manager

Production support for the Oracle DBA of Mount Alvirnea Hospital

Database in Linux OS. Worked on 24 x 7 Production Supporting implementation.
Installing new applications release and hosting central environments for divisional
testing. Providing standard templates for divisional testing. Monitoring and
maintaining the central environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Provided regular DBA support for the database servers.

 Created different databases for different departments.
 Transferred the data between the two databases using EXPORT and
IMPORT utilities
 Performed offline and online backups using operating system tools and
RMAN utility.
