Before the pandemic, 95% of its restaurants' sales are generated from the Dine-In business. Everything changed when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. Since it was a strongly Dine-In business, the restaurants were not prepared how COVID-19 would change consumer behavior. It was not partnered with any external delivery service, the restaurants did not have their own in-house delivery, takeout and dine-in were non- existent. The company was not making any profit that they had to close some of their branches and retrench 30% of their manpower headcount, both from the branches and in the head office.
