ABSTRACT
The following report is prepared during the observation at Govt. Elementary school 217
R.B Uchkhera Faisalabad. In this report all the aspects related to school management, classroom
environment, students’ participation and teacher’s effectiveness have been explored in detail. After
that I will talk about how much the experience had an impact on my aspiration to teach.
OBSERVATION REPORT
PART 1: OBSERVATION
For the purpose of my teacher observation, I decided to go in the
classroom of grade 8th at Govt.Elementary school 217 R.B Uchkhera Faisalabad. The overall area of the
school was rather large more than 4 kanal. There are 16 teachers in this school having their own separate
classroom to conduct their classes. There are 1200 students studying in the school. The whole time of
the school was divided into different periods.
The whole time of my observation were spent in grade 8th classroom where
Javaid Iqbal was teaching. It was fact that after walking into the classroom. I immediately feel a warmed
welcome. When I entered into a classroom, I noticed that there is a doormat was at floor with full of
colors and this welcome make me
feel just that. I observed that, on the wall there were number of pictures encourages learning procedures.
There are pictures of colors, shapes, name and pictures of fruits, about parts of speeches etc. There are
projected model of animals and plants at desks andhanging in the wall. This is supposed to provide
fun twist on learning fir students. I alsohere noticed that there was a colorful chart hanging in the wall
showing allocated tome for each subject. Also board showing a code of ethics with discipline tracker.
The overall environment of the class was very homy.
The classroom was divided into the different parts. The teacher dice for
delivering lecture teacher’s desk for checking assignments, students’ desks, reading corner. Sir Javaid
started his class with reading activity. He walked between the chairs ofU- shape seated students to
made eye contact with each student. After ensuring eye contact with each student Javaid Iqbal begin
explaining what the story is, he would like to read before the students this morning. He used the group
altering by periodically asking questions to the students as he read. He asked to the students by pertaining
the words or characters used in the story.
As we know that all the students were divided into groups and Javaid Iqbal
explained that all the students are divided into groups based on their marks in previous final
examination. This way he knows he would have to work for a whole year aftermaking certain group of
students in the class. Because he knows that when a class is divided into different groups students can
perform their goals better than individual activities. So as a result, there was a gap of classroom
management, sometimes he could not have made completely overall the classroom. On the other hand,
it was an efficient lecture by Javaid Iqbal.
After explaining his SLO’s he asked his students to was separate yourself in
groups at your concerned places. The children who needed the help more worked efficiently while
Javaid Iqbal was there to teach on individual group. I observed that how often he would have to talk
time away from his teaching to discipline the otherstudents. It was very seemed almost it ridiculous.
How he often would had to stop to make sure nobody was taking our making or creating disturbance in
any other way to disrupt his class. Now this time the classroom environment was completely changed
but on the other hand as we know that it is a true. some misbehavior students always one there in
every
class. So, I felt upset for those students who wanted to learn but not because Sir Javaid was playing not
softly. He was acting just like a policeman to maintain his classroom environment.
I observed that how much time had gone in non-teaching activitiesof the
classroom. It shows a big deficiency of classroom and classroom management. To avoid this type of
misleading issue Javaid Iqbal had already announced that if any student will be misbehaved during or in
the class then as a punishment, he or she will be loosed hisannual disciplinary reward as a prize. So that
students will be loosen their ranking. So due to this act of punishment all the student’s behavior
automatically improved.I observed that Javaid Iqbal is very hardworking teacher of the school. As a
result, I can say that he is an asset for the school, who annotated a way of teaching all the students changed
their behaviors.
The school environment was very good. It was cleaned and well
maintained. It is an effort of whole staff which is a team whose leader is a headmaster. The school
bathroom was also stop less, there was hanging towel with mirror and soap in the bathroom. It was a
great lesson for me, I am lucky man who joined a well-disciplined school for best learning a best school
and best environment required.
PART 2: REFLECTION
I believed that this was a meaningful and excellent experience for me of the
observation. I am very happy to learn all these skills and expertise related toclass management,
school management affairs and dealing qualities of a good and effective teacher. I would strongly
recommend Javaid Iqbal to interested students looking for somewhere to learn the teaching expertise
and skills. Not only he had a good commandand grip on his subject he has excellent delivering power
with suitable examples during the lesson. Having 40 students in the single classroom cannot be easy for
anyone. Yet he handled it with efficient grace. I picked up so many teaching methods while during
thehours in the observation of Javaid Iqbal class activities. I loved that how he had made different space
of the classroom separate for each aspect.
I obviously loved that how he had carried different groups of thestudents
according to their intelligence. I loved the environment of the school that was very homy. The
experience truly has opened my eyes. I have made my mind that an educated
teacher has a number of teaching qualities. If he is a professional teacher but he mustalways teach to
perform his duty honestly.

TEACHER OBSERVATION REPORT
PART 1 OBSERVATION:
For the purpose of my teacher observation, I decided to go in the classroom at grade 7th class
at Govt. Elementary school 217 R.B Uchkhera Faisalabad. The overall area of the school was rather
large more than 4 kanal. There were 16 teachers in this school having their own separate classrooms
to conduct their classes to teach them. There were almost 1200 students studying in this school. The
whole time of school was divided into different periods for each subject separately.
The most time of my last observation was spent in grade 7th classroom. In this class Sadia Naz was
teaching. It’s a fact that after walking into the classroom I immediately warmly welcomed by the students.
When I entered into the classroom. I obviously surprised after looking the classroom environment. I noticed
that three was a doormat with full of colors laying in the front of floor. Showing lights of colors welcome me.
I observed that there was a great colorful shining and beautiful model for the different lessons. There were
pictures related to different subjects. I also noticed that there were two maps on the wall one of them was
Pakistan and second was Gujranwala district showing different areas with different colors. The environment
of the class was very good. There were sitting total 40 students of the class. All ofthem were in full uniform.
Before starting his lesson Sadia Naz ensured that all the students were sitting in their concerned rows allowed,
she walked around the students by calling them with their names who all were group coordinators of the
classes.
Sadia Naz asked her students to sit in the class in grouped shape who already sat after joining two
benches and desks for each group. Sadia Naz began explaining what she would is going to taught her class.
As she read her current days, lesson of math practices exercise.First of all, she asked questions to recall
the lesson of previous day, I observed her own excellent method for revision the exercise through
questioning answering. It shows that the picking and understanding level of the students was so good.
After ensuring the revision of the lesson Sadia Naz linked her toady SLO’s with the previous day
SLO’s. It showed that the hierarchy level of the mathematics and understanding. It
was a topic of algebra of the class. I liked her teaching techniques because she mostly used such type of
examples. These are suitable for class.
When she started her exercise to teach the students she ensures the 100% participation of the
students and make eye contact with each of them. After reading the today’s lesson she called group
coordinators to the white board to solve some exercise for their groups. She called coordinators one by one.
After this activity she wrote some questions on the white board and say group coordinators solved all these
questions under your guideline by every group member. Every group member respond positively in this
regard. So I observed thatall the students had cleared their today’s SLO’s and they do not have any issue.
The school environment was very clean and well maintained. The credit goes to the leader or head
of the school who have lot of abilities of the management to run the school with effective manners. The
bathroom was also stop less. The staff and the students alike seen to really enjoy the school and environment
around them. There was no better place to learn than somewhere. Students feel very comfortable in Govt.
Elementary school 217 R.B Uchkhera Faisalabad.
PART 2: REFLECTION.
I believed that was a fruitful experience for me in this school. I am very happy to learn all these
skills and expertise related to the creation of classroom management and overall a best environment
for the study. I would strongly have recommended Sadia Naz to interested students who want to study
and height of confidence must join Govt.Elementary school 217 R.B Uchkhera Faisalabad. Not only
she had good command and grip on her subject but also she has excellent and learnable delivering
power. Students always enjoys her company during the study because she is a good teacher. So she
mostly created a homy environment in the class. If there 40 students are sitting in the class but she had
controlled them efficiently. On the other hand, I much difficult to do so but she did it. I obviously
love that how she had carried different groups of the students and taught them with her ensure that
every student had got today’s SLO’s.
