Bhuvan Avnindra Shankar Bam (pronounced [ˈbʱʊʋən baːm]; born 22 January 1994)[1] is an Indian
comedian, writ er, singer, songwrit er, and YouTube personalit y from Delhi, India. Known for his
comedy channel on YouTube BB Ki Vines, Bam is t he direct or of BB Ki Vines Privat e Limit ed
corporat ion.[3]

 Early life and education

Bam is a Maharast rian, born on 22 January 1994 in Vadodara, Gujarat [2] t o Avnindra and Padma
Bam. Lat er on, his family moved t o Delhi. He at t ended Green Fields School in Delhi and graduat ed
from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Delhi Universit y, wit h a bachelor's degree in hist ory.[4]

In 2021, Bam's parent s died of COVID-19.[5]

Career

Bam launched his int ernet career in uploading a video in which he lampooned a news report er who
asked a woman insensit ive quest ions regarding t he deat h of her son due t o t he Kashmir floods.
The video went viral in Pakist an, inspiring Bam t o creat e his own YouTube channel in June 2015.[6]

BB Ki Vines

BB Ki Vines is a YouTube channel whose 2–12 minut e videos depict s t he life of an urban
t eenager, and his whimsical conversat ions wit h his friends and family – all played by Bam
himself.[7] He has 20 million subscribers on his YouTube channel and is known for playing
charact ers like Bhuvan, Banchoddas, Sameer Fuddi, Titu Mama, Bablu, Janki, Mrs. Verma, Adrak
Baba, Mr. Hola, Papa Maakichu, Detective Mangloo, Dr. Sehgal and Babli Sir.[8]

The videos are filmed using a front camera on a phone by Bam himself. He originally uploaded his
videos t o Facebook, and t hen moved t o YouTube.[9]

Works

In August 2016, Bam released a music video "Teri Meri Kahani". This was followed by "Sang Hoon
Tere", "Safar", "Rahguzaar" and "Ajnabee". He also appeared in a short film, Plus Minus, along wit h
Divya Dut t which earned him a Filmfare award.[10][11] In December 2018, he began a new digit al
series on YouTube called Titu Talks, t hat feat ured Shah Rukh Khan as t he first guest .[8]

In 2019, he released t he song, "Ajnabee" on his YouTube channel.[12]

In May 2020, Bam uploaded an episode of Tit u Talks t it led 'Lifeline of Societ y' in which he
int erviewed an elect rician, house help, farmers, t ransgenders and milkmen t o underst and t he
difficult ies t hey are facing during t he COVID-19 lockdown in India.[13] He announced t hat t he
earnings from t his episode would be used for social causes. Aft er a mont h, he revealed on
Twit t er t hat t he video had generat ed ₹5,20,000, of which t he majorit y of t he money was used t o
provide rat ion kit s, food, and milk t o t he slums in Delhi NCR. The rest of t he money was donat ed
t o t he farmers' relief fund, sanit ary workers, t he t ransgender communit y, milkmen, communit y
kit chens, dog shelt ers, and organizat ions for t he blind and migrant .[14]

In January 2021, he released a st at ement claiming t hat his uploaded videos had had a t ot al
number of 3 billion views.[15]

As of March 2021, Bam is working on his upcoming project , Dhindora.[16][17]
