Zee News is an Indian Hindi-language news channel owned by the Essel Group. It is associated
with several other sister news channels which provide coverage in Hindi, English and several
regional languages of India. Zee News was launched on 27 August 1999, as Zee Sports Ltd. The
company was reincorporated on 27 May 2004, as Zee News Ltd. In 2013, Zee News Ltd changed
its name to Zee Media Corporation Limited. The Zee News channel is the flagship channel of the
company. The chairman of the group is Subhash Chandra, who is a Bharatiya Janata Party-
backed member of the Rajya Sabha. Sudhir Chaudhary is the editor-in-chief of Zee News and the
anchor of the prime time show on the channel. Zee News, which is the flagship channel of the
Zee Media company, has the 'Soch Badlo Desh Badlo' tag line which shows the focus on
hardcore and serious news. The channel's programmes have won several prestigious national and
international awards.
About YouTube
YouTube is an online video sharing and social media platform owned by Google. Around the
world its users watch more than one billion hours of YouTube videos each day. YouTube
creators popularly referred to as YouTubers upload over one hundred hours of content per
minute. In 2005 Youtube.com was launched by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim.

Over the years YouTube has expanded from beyond the website into mobile apps, network
television, and permitting other services like Discord and Nintendo to access YouTube. The
range of videos on YouTube is seemingly infinite as users can find music videos, video clips,
short and documentary films, audio recordings, corporate sponsored movie trailers, live streams,
video blogs, as well as content from popular YouTubers. Most content today is still generated by
individuals, including collaborations between YouTubers and companies that sponsor
YouTubers. Over the past six years established media corporations such as Disney, Viacom, and
WarnerMedia have created and expanded their corporate YouTube channels to promote their
content to a larger audience. YouTube also acts as a social network by allowing users with a
Google account to watch and upload their own videos, comment on videos, rate and respond to
comments, like or dislike videos, create playlists, and subscribe to other users and channels.

Zee news is very much active on their YouTube and one of the fast growing YouTube Channel.
Zee News have 18.7 milion followers and they have 5,676,772,919 total views on all of their
videos. They upload the content in very of 15 to 30 min of Interval and all the videos are Hindi
title and Hindi audio language. Where they upload the news both Global and Local News.
Majority of their Content is on Indian Politics.

attractive, the thumbnails are Hindi language where majority of Indian people could read. Every
thumbnail are very much creating a question, like in 3rd thumbnail where they gave “CM yogi ko
bacchi ne diya Special Gift” this kind of thumbnail could make visitors to think once about the
story, they could easily mention the gift in thumbnail, but they didn’t mention by not mentioning

Above picture clearly stating that Zee News is a Hardcore News Channel; most of their Videos
are related to Crime and Indian Politics, due to corona pandemic now they are uploading the
video related to immune system yoga, Ayurved and Baba Ramdev. They don’t upload videos
with new update tech or automobiles industry like other channels working. The most wached
video or show is DNA(Daily News Analysis) which is very popular on Television.

They upload the short clips of their shows like DNA, taal thok ke they don’t specially make the
videos for their Youtube Channel they just cut the main headline of their T.V. programe and edit
then they upload them to their Youtube Channel. The majority of their videos are in the length of
5 to 10 minutes, as shown in Above picture, where they cover every aspects of story. They
present the news in very formal way. They follow the inverted pyramid style of journalism where
main point of story comes first.
Comments
The comments is the platform or the option given by an institution or organization to share your
view opinion about the concern.

Above Picture is clearly stating that there audience are very much connected to their channel and
content. The picture is also stating that most of the viewers are against of Indian

Facebook pages they follow. Facebook said that it had 2.8 billion monthly active users as of
December 2020 and Facebook was the most downloaded mobile app of the 2010s globally.

Zee news is very much active on their Facebook Page and one of the fast growing Page on

The page was created on 27 January 2012 but got popular after 2017, before that in India internet
was very expensive of few people could afford it but in 2016 Jio Sims got launched in market
where internet data got very cheap every people were getting free data and most of audience in
now on Internet specially youth to target youth they choose Facebook to reach them easily and

NDTV was founded in 1984, by the journalist Radhika Roy and the economist Prannoy Roy, a

satellite channels when television broadcasting was a state monopoly and transitioned into the
first independent news network in India. The company launched the first 24x7 news channel in
partnership with Star India in 1998.

news segment. In 2003, the company became an independent broadcasting network with the
simultaneous launch of the Hindi and English language news channels known as NDTV India

business interests in general entertainment and e-commerce, and is part of the management of a
number of broadcast channels including the lifestyle channel NDTV Good Times, the

and NDTV India both of them focuses hard core news Ndtv is and English audio YouTube

Above picture clearly stating that the NDTV is a hardcore news channel. This channel
specifically for Hindi news and they have another YouTube channel where they upload news in
English Language. They upload the news in 15 to 30 min of interval. Here they don’t upload
news related to gadgets, automobiles on this channel they have seprate channel for that
NDTVgadgets360 here they upload the content related to automobile, tech, and gadgets.

Their content are o 5 to 10 mins in which they just upload the clips of their T.V. shows which
here on there youtube news channel they don’t make spate videos.

Their content is all about question the ruling government which is Bhartiya Janta
Party(BJP)where they just very pined questions, and they present the news in just way that every
miss happening to the country done by BJP.the news is always against the ruling government.

In above picture clearly stating that the their audience are the people who are against o BJP and
Mr.Narendra modi and the most audience is between 25 to 60 in age. They have most of their
audience who are pros to congress and other parties excluding BJP.
NDTV Facebook Page Analysis

NDTV is very much active on their facebook page they started their facebook page back in 19
June 2008, when there audience are not much on their facebook page but now they have 8.4
million visitors on their page as well 8.3 million people like there faceboo page

Tittle and Thumbnails

NDTV the thumbnail are very appealing to the point, and very short which makes the visitiors to
quickly grabs about their post. They don’t youse hastags they just wants only their viewers to see
the post they just simply write the content some times they just tag the celebrity or Politian name
in the post either the don’t make hastags don’t want to make their news treanding.
Content Analysis

The content in NDTV’s Facebook page are post or article in which they cover every aspects of
their news. On their facebook page most of the videos are getting live in that they just run their
T.V. programme shows like prime time with ravish kumar. They upload some of the clips they
which they which are cut prom their TV programme.

Comments
The comments are very few on their Facebook page and most of them at the age 18 and above
and the comments are against of BJP and and pros to other paries specially congress. In
comments visitors like presenting skills of Mr. Ravish Kumar whose show is Prime time, the
facebook page o NDTV specially popular to todays youth.
Conclusion
Both the channels are very much of popular to the masses specially in youth. Both Channel Zee
News and NDTV are on different have different ideology.NDTV very much concern about there
Social Media Page they have different pages for different kind o audience like NDTV INDIA
NDTV and NDTVGagets360 to target audience. Where as Zee news strictly to their on their Zee
News page where they just foces on delivering the quality of the news to the masses.NDTV
focuses on the quantity of news they don’t make or don’t upload much videos on their social
media page specially on Facebook page they are following old generation news presenting like
writing news article.
