Functional description
If button 1 on the IR remote control is pressed and held (approx. 1 sec ), Flood light 1 is
switched on. If button 1 on the IR remote control is pressed and held again (approx. 2
sec), flood light 1 is switched off. Flood lights 2, 3 and 4 function according to the same
pattern, but on different frequencies.

Exercise 1

❏ Develop the program according to the functional description.

❏ Inscribe the solution as a function block diagram into the solution field 1.

❏ Enter the program (see solution field 1) into the programming unit (PC).

❏ Test the program with the integrated simulator according to function block diagram
(FBD).

❏ Transfer the function block diagram into the LOGO!.

❏ Test the circuit with the training device LOGO!Learn.
