D- DEVOTIONAL

But let’s have to start our class with God by pondering his words found in Genesis 1:28- And God blessed
them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and
have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that
moveth upon the earth.

”Let’s pray first before everything.

The phrase “be fruitful” means be productive, the word “multiply” means to increase in number,
“replenish” means to fill or refill, “subdue” means to control and to “have dominion over” means to
have authority over. Therefore, the meaning of Genesis 1:28 is that humans, starting with Adam and
Eve, should live productive lives which includes using the resources of the earth. Humans also instructed
to populate the earth, to reproduce. Mankind is told to fill the earth with their productions as well as
themselves. During the same time making sure the earth is replenished with what has been put to use
by man. Humanity is to control the entire planet, its resources and land and whatever is influenced by its
natural cycles and seasons. Finally, we, people of the earth are given the commission to have authority
over the creatures of the earth. We, humans are caretakers of our home this planet earth.

Devotional / Process Question:

1. How do you respond of God’s commission as a caretaker of your environment?

Will, First I will take good the things he made for us and use it properly. We know that if we use it
negatively it also gives us negative result or can harm us but if we use it in the right way 101% it will give
also the good things that the nature has. God give us everything like the authority to handle the things
here on earth all we need to do is take care of them as steward of God and actually we are also the one
who benefits of what we've done.
