3. ON OUR PREVIOUS LESSON WE TALK ABOUT THE
IMPORTANT ROLE OF COMPUTER.One of the greatest
inventions of all time is a computer. Computer
revolutionizes the way you study while making
education smoother and quicker even on the new
normal.   In general, a computer has helped the
education world and also has changed the way we work
& learn. And it’s almost not possible to COMPARE IT
WITH LUGAW. And if you are one of those who think
that computer isn’t essential, THINK TWICE !

9. These are the parts of a desktop
computer. the monitor. A monitor is an
electronic output device used to display
images, text, video, and graphics
information generated by a connected
computer via a computer's video card. The
Latest type of a monitor are the LED Light
emitting diode and LCD or Liquid crystal
display both are efficient and space saver.
10. SYSTEM UNIT A system unit is the part
of a computer that houses the primary
devices that perform operations and
produce results for complex calculations. It
includes the motherboard, CPU, RAM and
other components. Also, so known as a
chassis or a tower.
11. mouse  It controls the movement of the
cursor on the computer screen and allows
users to move and select folders, text, files,
and icons on a computer.

connects to a computer to generate sound.
The signal used to produce the sound that

of computer hardware used to input text,

of a desktop computer. Hope you are able
to remember them. Now the big question
is? Why do we need to identify all those
parts and their functions?
15. First of all, you need to learn the parts
in order to know how your computer works,
what this part does, how you can use it, and
set it up without a problem.Second,
knowing the different parts of a computer
will help you learn how to troubleshoot it.
Troubleshooting will help you identify and
fix the basic problems you have on your
computer.
16. After identifying the parts of a desktop. Where do
you usually see a desktop computer? Can you cite some
examples?

laboratories, offices, internet cafes, or even in your
homes. You are correct! Computers help all kinds of
people. Children, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens all

for a different purpose.

different parts of the computer desktop and
their functions. You can draw or use cutout
