permissible for me to do but not everything is beneficial. I cannot afford to compromise my conviction or character for the altar of convenience or for
the sake of my friend. Thus, moral conviction is absorbed by your character. This is how some means on how to demonstrate and show your
character in your service, private and public life.

3. Humility is the ability to be yourself. As a matter of fact, the word humble comes from the Latin root word humus, meaning “earth.”
Which means humility denotes earthiness or an awareness of one’s true essence.

4. Character is a commitment to a set of values without compromise; likewise, Character is dedication to a set of standards without
wavering; Character is self-imposed discipline in keeping with moral convictions; Character is a constant effort to integrate one’s

5. It is fixedly principles that character is the moral force and foundation of leadership. A leader cannot manifest and reveal his/her
gifts, and potential without first fixing, settling molding his/her character. As a matter of fact, the character of a leader is more
important than his/her manifested or revealed potential or gifts.

6. Likewise, this is the reason why the character of a true leader protects his gifts and vision. This is inclined into it that leadership is
only as safe as your character. Moreover, character is a big deal, it is the source of trust and respect.

7. Moreover, the gifts or potentials of a leader can never protected by his/her character. Rather, the character of a true leader will
protect his/her gifts and potentials. That’s why seek out character before the gifts and potential of a leader.

8. For instance, in the police parlance or in the name of public service, your character as a police officers is more important than your
service. In essence, it is not the service that you render that makes the people will trust you. Instead, it is your character that makes
your service trusted. To make sense, a service without character is a sign of hypocrisy.

9. Presently and agreeably, basically one of the lacking in our police force is the lack of character. However, practically speaking, the
source of understanding and applying of your character is knowing and understanding your source and who really you are. That’s why
the greatest crisis in life is not this current crisis or any similar crisis, but identity crisis.

10. In essence, the character of a police officers is inclined or parallel to his private life. The life of a police officer is a personal but it is
not private. In general, there’s no such thing as private life. Your life is personal but it is not private. Character is more concern on
