Introduction

The Mango Foundation (TMF) is a social enterprise registered under ‘societies act’ on 16 January 2016,
albeit it has been working long way back since it. Started merely as a hobby now has become a mission,
a mission to eradicate the illiteracy and subsequently unemployment.

TMF since its inception have been committed to achieving the ambitious goal of making society a better
place for us and future generation. TMF is of the belief that this can be successfully achieved through: -

Education
Under the Project ‘Raahat’, we look after the studies and all-around performance of a student. Currently,
I’m looking after 70 students from two localities. I’m happy to mention that we have successfully
admitted around 20 students at nearby schools.

Empowerment
The females of the nation have been ignored for a really long time, but now the scenario is changing.
There are women who have struggled their way to success. But we still have a long way to go, there are
still hidden faces who are struggling to come out of their doors and prove their worth. The Mango
Foundation looks forward to bring this change to even the economic lower section by empowering these
females of a family. The project ‘RACHNA’ aims for empowering women, by developing marketable
skills, vocational courses and hobby courses for these ambitious females.
The Yellow Leaf Project

The Yellow Leaf project is a subsidiary of the parent NGO The Mango Foundation through which the
organization is trying to empower the least privilege children and women in the society by generating
employment and educating them.

This project is headed to sell the organic incense sticks manufactured and supported by CSIR-CIMAP. In
this project the organization is fully employed by only women and all the profits earned through this
project are being invested in nourishing and developing the future minds of the country.

The founders Harshit Sonker & Yashaswi Sonker both graduated from the XLRI have taken the pledge to
support the least privilege children of society by nourishing & teaching them and also to empower the
women.
