A goal of mine this year is to provide you with learning

#ROCKETSSOAR TO NEW HEIGHTS…
This month, I’d like to give a shoutout to the reading
development team and the math interventionist team
that soared to new heights by partnering up with
their counterparts at our sister school, Oak Terrace, to
assess students and gather data needed to create
small groups.
Their time, preparation, and efforts cannot go
unnoticed! Thank you Sandy, Stephanie, Jamie,
Sarah, and Val for your hard work!
opportunities all year long! The big idea behind
coaching is being your on-site professional
development. With that being said, I will soon be
kicking off Lunch & Learns to discuss topics that draw
your attention and grow our capacity. If you have any
areas of interest that you’d like to learn about, drop me
a line so we can chat and I can do some research. I’m
also happy to partner up with someone to provide a
Lunch & Learn PD for our colleagues! I am happy to
help you all reach your professional goals!

By the way…
I want to draw attention to how we’ve practiced vulnerability with each other! Remember, whether
it’s to admit we’re unclear about what’s expected, aren’t familiar with an instructional practice or we
need to have a conversation regarding philosophies, I’ve seen so many of you stepping up to
becoming comfortable being uncomfortable.

Final Thoughts
Finally, in my first-month of being a full-time staff member here, it’s with great joy and comfort to
say that I love my new home! You all have been so welcoming and warm to me, I couldn’t be more
grateful. As I continue to practice my vulnerability, I promise to continue looking at all of you with
the eyes of a learner. Thank you, Red Oak, for making my transition here from part-time to full-time
