“An aspiring Criminal Lawyer”

Figures title: 2

According to Lydia Maria Child, “Law is not law, if it violates the principles of

Justice.” I always believe that a Law is not relevant and justified, if the rights of an

individuals are taken. Law plays a major role in protecting the general safety, ensure the

rights of the citizens against unjustified, and inhumane actions convicted among other

people who committed a crime. Thus, there are several types and kinds of Lawyers that

serves different crime cases. For insight, there are Corporate Lawyer, Labor Lawyer,

Family Lawyer, Tax Lawyer, Intellectual Property Lawyer, Traffic Lawyer and Criminal

Lawyer. These are only the types of Lawyers that serves different purpose in a case.

Personally, I aim to be a Criminal Defense Lawyer, a student who is aspiring to be

a good lawyer in the future. Being a criminal lawyer is never easy, like any other type of

lawyers. However, being a criminal Lawyer is something I believe that is suited to my

capabilities as a student of Law. (1) Criminal Defense Lawyers live in an environment

wherein everyday they keep up to policies and law. They have connections, insides and

outsides, also very knowledgeable in this field, as well as their eminent experience in the

romanticized idea of going inside a court. (2) Criminal Lawyers especially keeps track of

the paperwork’s, filling in and out, protecting the identity and the rights of the client. Like

a real hands-on experience, no room for mistakes and possible loopholes. (3) Criminal

Lawyers are trained Professionals that have been through the years, Understanding the

charges easily, no loopholes will be missed out without their knowledge. (4) being a

criminal lawyer also means devoted in defending you, there are tons of crimes that

happened daily, across global. Thus, it is like a matter of life and death situation for them

defending their client at all costs. Whether to reduce the sentence of the guilty or to prove

that they aren’t guilty.

I have always believer that there is good in lawyers, prosecutors, judges,

paralegals and other institute professionals working in the same setting. Being a student

of law takes courage, and guts to pursue this legal profession. Not only it takes to bear

years to study, but sweat, endless writing and reading of numerous cases along the way.

Nevertheless, where profession is in your heart, it will become bearable.
