Antarol™ FJ 601

Product Type Antifoam and Defoamer for Waterborne Architectural Coatings


Performance ANTAROL™ FJ 601 is a general-purpose defoamer for use waterborne
architectural coatings.
ANTAROL™ FJ 601 provides the following benefits:
 Suitable for all coating types
 Can be added at any stage of the manufacturing process
 Rapid foam knockdown and persistent antifoam performance
 Good compatibility

Typical Applications ANTAROL™ FJ 601 is recommended for all types of waterborne architectural
coating based on:

 Acrylic polymers
 Acrylic copolymers
 Polyvinyl acetate polymers

Incorporation ANTAROL™ FJ 601 is easily dispersed into the coating and can be added at
any stage of manufacturing.

Addition Levels For architectural coatings, the recommended addition levels for Antarol ™ FJ
601 range from 0.3-0.7% as supplied based on total formulation weight. It is
recommended that 0.5% be used as a starting point and adjusted according to
the application.

Packaging and Storage ANTAROL™ FJ 601 is supplied in 204-kg metal drums, 50-kg plastic kegs and
998 kg plastic totes. It is recommended that the product is stored in the
original, closed containers between 40°F and 100°F. Shelf life: 6 months. After
this, the product should be tested prior to use.
