"My Personal Legend"

There is this goal that I have always wanted to acomplish. It is my dream to become a
succesful Civil Engineer. It all started when I was a kid and I’m always watching my grand father draw
structural plans of houses and sometimes he will bring me to their construction site. There I was
amaze on how my grand father took care of things and the way he draw plans manually because
computer was not yet a trend back then. When he got his pay, he will immediately treat us on a
delicious meal and I admire him even more. When I got to highschool I discovered that my
grandfather was not a licensed engineer and I’m not disappointed with it, and I’m more amazed
because even though he doesn’t have a license he works like a real professional Civil Engineer.
Because of that I got a clearer vision of my goal and make my family proud just like my grandfather
did. Ever since that day, I never had a second thought on what my career path will be. I enjoyed math
subjects in highschool and finally took Civil engineering in college. And there I encountered many
difficulties such as low grades, failure, and other challenges but I never once lost sight of my goal.
Here I am in 3rd year of civil engineering and just 1 more year to go hopefully I will be able to graduate.
I know after I graduate it is only the start of my career as a Civil engineer and I need to take a board
exam to have a license which is another challenge that I have to conquer. I will continue to dream so
that there is always a goal that I need to follow and motivation to always move forward.
