Lately, ISRO has gone beyond just

launching satellites into orbit to discover
new frontiers. Today ISRO emerged as a
space agency; soon, they would be carrying
man-mission to Moon, eventually Mars and
other planets in coming times. Hence, the
current ISRO identity icon representing the
satellite may not be appropriate anymore.
Therefore we modified the existing icon to
represent reaching new heights.

Furthermore, the sphere/circle connotes

the notions of perfection, eternity, and
timelessness.
