the Asia Property Awards Grand Final presented by Kohler in Bangkok,
Thailand on November 22, 2019 at Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel,
Bangkok in Thailand.

Started with the first San Josemaria Village in Balamban targeted to Filipino workers in the area.
It started with only two employees including its founder Jose R. Soberano III doing the hands-on
selling.

Cebu Landmasters, Inc. is a home-grown real estate development company in Cebu. After its
incorporation in 2003, the company brought its passion for real estate to the countryside by
developing its first residential subdivision, called San Jose Maria Village, in the town of
Balamban. After the success of its first subdivision, the company then proceeded to bring its
brand of San Jose Maria Villages, low-mid cost quality homes, to Minglanilla (in 2007), and to
Toledo (in 2009). In 2010, the company launched its fourth San Jose Maria Village in Talisay
City.
The year 2010 also marked an important milesone for Cebu Landmasters, Inc. The company
embarked on its first vertical project by launching the first residential condominium in booming
Asiatown IT Park. The 17-story high-rise, called “Asia Premier Residences”, will be the first
residence to operate in the area when units are turned over to buyers in the 4th quarter of
2011.The company is headed by Mr. Jose R. Soberano III. Before establishing Cebu
Landmasters, he worked for the Ayala Group of Companies for over 20 years. After stints with
Ayala Investment and Bank of the Philippine Islands, he was part of the pioneer group that
established Cebu Holdings, Inc., the Ayala Land affiliate in Cebu City. He then rose through the
ranks to become Vice-President of Cebu Holdings, Inc. and Senior Division Manager of Ayala
Land.
The Cebu Landmasters team is a closely knit group of individuals who are passionate about real
estate and committed to personalizing the real estate experience of their buyers and partners. The
company is eyeing more vertical and horizontal developments and is positioning itself for
expansion to other locations in VisMin.

Jose Soberano III


Chairman, President and CEO

Prior to establishing Cebu Landmasters in 2003, Jose Soberano III worked for the Ayala
Group of Companies for over 23 years. His experience included various stints with
Ayala Investment, Bank of the Philippine Islands and Ayala Land, Inc. He was part of
the pioneering group that stablished Cebu Holdings, the Ayala Land subsidiary in Cebu
City, where he led various vertical and horizontal developments, and played an integral
part in the development of both the Cebu Business Park and Cebu IT Park – urban
redevelopments that have proven vital to Cebu’s economic present and future. He rose
through the ranks to become Senior Division Manager at Ayala Land and Vice-
President of Cebu Holdings. Joe brings not only his extensive Real Estate Development
experience to Cebu Landmasters, but also his passion to positively impact cities and
communities through masterfully-planned and executed developments.

Joe also recognizes his role as a member of the Cebuano community. He has served
as president of the Rotary Club of Cebu, president of the Chamber of Real Estate
Builders Association (CREBA), and is currently the Chairman of the Board at the Center
for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE), a socially oriented institution that offers
technical training to less privileged youth.

Joe graduated with an AB Economics Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1976, and
completed the Strategic Business Economics Program (SBEP) at the University of Asia and the Pacific. In
July 2015, he became an alumnus of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design after completing
the Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate.

Sales Analysis. During the year ended December of 2019, sales at Cebu Landmasters Inc were 8.50
billion Philippine Peso (US$174.83 million). This is an increase of 25.7% versus 2018, when the
company's sales were 6.76 billion Philippine Peso. This was the fifth consecutive year of sales
increases at Cebu Landmasters Inc (and since 2014, sales have increased a total of 562%)
