Subject: Notification of Interim Steering Committee (ISC) and its three

Sub-committees
Respected all,
With the approval of competent authority, I am pleased to re-constitute the Interim
Steering Committee (ISC) of SUNCSA and its three sub-committees.

2. The ISC is composed of high-level experts representing all the SUN Networks and
key development partners. SUN Focal Point will provide stewardship to the ISC till the
establishment of the new formal Executive Council (EC). The composition of ISC is at
Annex-I.

3. The ToRs of the ISC are as under:

• Review the ToRs of SUNCSA in order to align with the global guidelines and
commitments considering national and provincial/ area government priorities and
opportunities
• Bring in gender and youth aspects in line with global SUN Strategy 3.0
• Provide technical support for launch new membership drive
• Develop ‘due diligence’ and criteria for membership
• Streamline and facilitate election process to elect new formal EC
• Raise a non-partisan election commission
• Arrange oath ceremony of the new EC
• Deal with any other important matter requiring urgent attention during the interim
period

4. The three sub-committees on Election Process, Membership Drive and

ToRs/Guidelines/ other Documents Revision have been also constituted to work
simultaneously on different aspects of the ISC agenda. The composition of these
committees and their ToRs are attached at Annex-II, III & IV respectively.
