Semester and Class Conduct SOPs for Fall 2021

Departments of Management Sciences, Computer Sciences & Social Science

1. The 1st semester classes in all Undergraduate and Masters Programs will be
held physically in the campus following the regulatory SOPs.
2. Only vaccinated students will be allowed to take classes either on campus or in
hybrid mode, however partially vaccinated students will have 4 weeks for the
second dose till 13th October, 2021.
3. Registration of courses will be suspended of those students who are unable to
show/submit their full vaccination certificate from Nadra after October 13th, 2021.
4. Midterm and Final Term Examinations will be conducted On-Campus.
5. In any undergraduate course if the registered students are less than 10 then such a
class can be conducted physically on campus and the campus reserves the right to
do so.
6. All other classes not mentioned in point 1,2 and 3 i.e. semesters two to eight of all
undergraduate programs and Second Semester onwards of Master Program will be
conducted online via the synchronous hybrid mode *.
7. In the synchronous hybrid online class, at max 50% students registered in a course
will be allowed to attend class on campus.
8. The lists of students for synchronous hybrid class and lectures will be displayed on
SSC FB Page and students are advised to keep themselves updated. No one will be
allowed for switching their Registration Numbers for either Physical or Online
with other candidate, students will only follow the tabulated series on SSC page.
9. All students registered in the courses which are already in synchronous hybrid
mode will have freedom to attend class via online means even if they have
physical class that week.
10. All students are advised to keep their spare mask, gloves and a personal sanitizer
for their own protection.
11. Students are advised to avoid using the elevator if possible.
12. Students using the elevator must maintain distance, from other people and avoid
touching walls, inside.
13. Carry your personal water bottles in the campus.
14. Refilling the personal water bottles of students is allowed on water dispensers and
no glasses will be placed at such spots.
15. Students are advised not to share any edibles including water or candies etc. with
each other during their stay at campus.
16. Avoid ride sharing if possible in order to minimize chance of contacting COVID-
19.
17. No students will be allowed to stand in campus as groups and chat/ discuss issues.
18. Students are advised to avoid social gatherings outside the building.
19. Students are advised to leave the campus/ building immediately after classes are
over.
20. Students are not allowed to stay any part of building before or after class.
21. Students are advised to keep their commute limited possibly between house and
campus only specially on class days.
22. The campus will have no responsibility if any student falls sick or contracts
COVID-19 due to physically attending classes, and the students coming to campus
will automatically acknowledge this should they decide to come.
23. SZABIST attendance policy will be followed without any exception in both
physical and online classes.
24. Any student who does not comply to SOPs in any way will face disciplinary
action.

27. For all complains, queries and miscellaneous issues contact your relevant PM via
email or SZABIST landline.
28. The campus reserves the right to change mode of conduct of classes from physical
to online and vice versa any time as per advise of the government and prevailing
situation.
* Synchronous hybrid learning mode involves students attending classes online and physically simultaneously.
