1. 1.

Research is practical and realistic because this is useful for future purposes and that the evidence
taken for research is scientifically proven and tested. This is done through thorough implementation and
practices where in return leads to hypothesis and can be justifiable. Facts and observations are also
presented in research that’s why it's practical and realistic.

2. 2. Research topic or problems comes first when it comes to researching because a research topic
can be a basis if the research is worth researching for. Also, the research topic served as a guide and the
flow throughout the research, so in conclusion, the importance of choosing a topic or a problem is
relevant for without its presence the research could be impossibly resolved or even starts.

3. 3. Research starts with a problem and we seek findings and data to resolve and give solutions and
explanations to it, however, there’s always a limitation to every finding. The more we find the solution
for the starting problems, the more question will pop again in the end. Questions that are may cause by
inquisitiveness when it comes to things that needed some definite explanations.

4. 4. Ethics is purposely a guide for responsibly researching because it educates researchers to aim and
meet the high standard of constructing a research and promotes expanding pieces of knowledge. More
importantly, ethics is essential for scientific research depends on collaboration between researchers and
groups.

5. Research can be replicated but not the findings because it will be considered as copyright which is a
violation of our law. One can replicate the research to enable the researcher to arrive at valid and
conclusive results, but they have to discover and seek new innovative findings to support and proved
their replicated research.

1. 1. Conducting certain research has numerous characteristics and processes involved.

Conducting research must undergo the process of gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information to
resolve and give answers to the research questions. And the research must be systematic, controlled,
valid, and verifiable to prevent unethical practices. Other than along with undergoing various processes
the outcomes should be accurate and authentic because researchers must fulfill so. The research
includes the characteristics of being empirical, logical, cyclical, analytical, critical, and lastly is the
replicability. These characteristics of research played a vital role in the flow of the research and what
must be done to achieve results. Moreover, the processes involved when it comes to conducting
research are the following: First, the researchers must define and develop their topic wherein it will the
title cover the purpose of the research. Here, the researchers can plan if the topic they have chosen
costs too much or is just adequate. Second, the researchers must search for some existing research
related to the topic you have chosen for guide and background. The problem is also defined in this part
of the research which is the introduction. Third, the researchers must plan their research design. This
part includes the methods used for the implementation and conduction of the experiments to obtain
data. Fourth, is the realistic part wherein the researchers must conduct and disseminate their tools in
obtaining their data just like using a questionnaire. In the fifth one, the researchers can gather the
relevant data needed, in this way they can proceed to the formulation of their insights about their
topics. Conclusions are also presented in this part about the observations of the data and they can
conclude whether their research questions are answered or resolved. Lastly, the research that was
conducted by the researchers identified another problem to be resolved wherein the lacking parts are
pinpoint while doing the procedures in gathering the information needed especially when the result is
concluded. Here, the researcher can find out what needs to develop and improve.

2. 2. The various research ethics and rights of a research participant is that he or she must be
honest in the collection and the results of the data after the procedures. He or she must also know how
to be confidential wherein, they must know how to keep the records to themselves and not brag this to
other researchers. The researchers must also be careful in implementing the methods and observations
because the research conducted is significant for future purposes and that research is not for fun but a
realistic aspect. Their rights as a participant are that they have the right to have enough time in doing
the research. They also have the right to know the expenses of the research and most importantly have
the utmost right to decide about the information of the research that they collected. They are the
rightful owner of their research and they have the right to reject people who want to benefit from it
without permission.

1. Ethics in research means doing the appropriate things and being able to define what’s the right and
wrong things to do in conducting research. Next is being able to value the words respect, consideration,
and justice to people who will become subjects of the said research in order to gather information about
their condition while undergoing their covid -19 treatment.

2. In my opinion, humans nor animals are suitable to be subjects for injecting vaccines to discover and
find if it’s effective for destroying and fighting the virus. Clearly, for both parties it's unethical but for
some reason, science or the medical field necessarily are in need of tested subjects to provide solutions
to the issues concerning the virus.

3. If I were a part of the research team what I will do to correct an unethical feature of the experiment is
to suggest and consider the changes then provide resolutions and conduct another investigation and
experimentation without risking the lives of the subject. And also removing those unethical features and
replace alternative options instead.
1. Research is a step-by-step procedure as a guide if constructing and they are seven steps of it.
The first step would be the researcher’s area of interest. The second is the availability of funds. Third
investigator’s ability and training. Fourth is the gathering of necessary data using open-ended questions
for qualitative research and a closed-ended questionnaire. The fifth step is processing and analyzing data
using thematic analysis for qualitative research, while statistical tools for the quantitative research. The
sixth step is formulating new insights gained conclusion and recommendations. And the last step for the
procedure is to define the problems.

2. Research does not only rotates about adding data to the existing knowledge but also brought
life to innovative studies which could help the different fields for the sake of the economy such as the
medical field or the society. Research plays a significant role especially in today's generation wherein
issues are needed some resolutions and immediate actions to partake.

3. Some of the ethical codes of research are the following. First, confidentiality wherein the
research is restricted to be shared by anyone except the group who conducted the research. The
research conducted, must follow legal procedures and processes to avoid being sued by the government
for violation. And lastly would be the human subject protection where the people who serve as one of
the variables and the source of obtaining data must be protected and their privacy must be kept.

4. Some tips to avoid plagiarism are to paraphrase the words or statements coming from the
original source and we should also provide our own views and comprehend the data for the research.
Next is to provide a citation to give credits to the author and the writers of that certain study or the
owner of that statement.
