Phrases (riffs/licks)

In this section some archives of audio with phrases (riffs/licks) with the objective serving like
practices with the harmonica are included. The terms riff and lick talk about musical phrases,
that is to say, to melodías or musical pieces that are repeated or not in a song (rock, blues,
etc…). In the case of lick it has in addition a meaning to “melodía improvised”. These terms
are equivalent to the figure of the ostinato in classic music, with the same definition: repeated
pieces of melodía or progression of agreed like support.

All the archives of sound are in format mp3 to 48 Kb/s and with harmonica in C if the
opposite does not specify itself.

It is necessary to consider already explained in the section “How to begin”, on rate, simple
and clean notes, mouth, etc… before trying to execute the scales and examples in audio.
These exercises are not a systematic method of learning by steps but one helps to acquire
naturalness with the rates, scales, etc… so that repeating time and time again we pruned them
to have a base at the time of knowing notes, approaching melodías more complex, to improve
our improvisation and really to acquire masters in the harmonica.

He is preferable to begin slowly all that we pruned but always trying to do it well, the speed
is something that will leave single as soon as we dominate a subject and we would not have
to give importance at the outset him. In the scales and exercises many are included bends and
means bends (frequently the note less of a halftone lowers) reason why is one of the first
techniques that also we must approach previously.

Scales for Harmonica
In this section some archives of audio with scales the objective will be included to serve as
practices with the harmonica:
All the archives of sound are in format mp3 to 48 Kb/s and with harmonica in C if the
opposite does not specify itself.
