Development of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health WORKFORCE PLAN
• The Workforce Plan will focus on attracting, training and retaining Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander people in the health workforce across Australia. It will also be used to
supplement the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Strategic
Framework 2016-2023, with a focus on implementation.

• A Project Reference Group includes representatives from the National Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander Health Standing Committee; National Health Leadership Forum; National
Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation; National Aboriginal and Torres Strait

Culturally Safe Notifications
