My name is John Andrew A. Padilla, a student of San Pedro College Davao City, Philippines taking Nursing. Since
my first year, I have been in good academic standing, and I have participated in extracurricular activities. When I was in
high school, I’ve been part of the student council and the school’s publication. As a college student, I was a part of the
student congress, a club that all the class presidents form each year and course is a member of; the director’s guild, a
club that focuses on photography and videography, covers the media on school events. As a member, I have offered
aside my time and participation is the good work ethic I carry when tasks are given to me. I’ am very diligent, critical, and
detail-oriented when it comes to my work; I make it a point to constantly review my work to be satisfied that I have done
it correctly and aside from that I appreciate and accept constructive criticism.
I have no previous experience attending and joining an international education, but I am not ignorant of the concept.
Some institutions and organizations offer and sponsor, and some individuals independently participate at their own
expense. Regardless of my experience, I can still offer my best self to contribute to this program and my group positively.
The main reason I wanted to join is that I want to be educated more on the context/content of the program. I’ am
aware of the topic that the program will be dealing but I’ am not well versed, and also I want to be involved and contribute
as much as I can. Topics that the program will tackle affect each country in certain aspects, and it also involves us
indirectly because we are not just striving solely on our resources and means. Each movement of another individual or
country can disrupt the flow of everyone, and participating in such a program, will provide me the skills and knowledge to
help provide solutions and actions that can be beneficial globally to all. Last, the only thing that I hope to take away from
this program is that I can acquire different insights from different people, from their experiences to how they think. I hope
this will give you an insight into my personality and the reason why I join.
