Acknowledge:
With the help of Allah Almighty, I completed my internship in omegatronix a software
company. I am very pleased that they cooperated with us during this pandemic and allow us
to learn and grow. During those weeks of my internship, they make us visit their different
departments and try to give us knowledge about how each department work, and if you want
to be the master of your field how much it is important to learn these methods
Above all, without Allah’s grace, nothing can be possible. So, I am very grateful that he
includes my consents in his consents. My all gratitude’s are towards them who helps me to
complete this report, my supervisor prof. asad tashfeen who tries his best to make us crystal
clear, sir hamza anwar who also cooperates with us and helps us to make our task clear.
During this pandemic, I found a lot of amazing people who understands our concerns and
help to keep us motivated so that we can focus on our skills

Executive summary:
I have recently done with my six-week internship at omegatronix. It is a software company
which provides software to different companies according to their needs. During my
internship, I work in different departments where I learn a lot about them like their mission
statement and vision statement and values which they are providing to their customers. As I
was writing this report, I come to know that they are also working very well not only in
Pakistan but also in different other foreign countries. While making this report I also come to
know about their competitors who are working in the same industry and seek for same
customers by doing the same work which is discussed in this report. I also provide pestal
analysis of this company and learn about their external factors. Moreover, I also mention their
services which they are providing with that some of my experience and skills which I think
they give a chance to improve.
Some of their internal and external factors that can effort the growth of the company and their
marketing strategies through which they promote and present their work to different
organizations. While working in this organization I also learn about their human resource
policies which they practice and not only that they do CSR for the good reputation in the
market to compete with their competitors which I discuss in detail.
I also mention some of the after-sale services which they provide to their customers so that
their customers will come again and never switch. They try to make them satisfy written
below in detail

Chapter 1:
1.1 industry profile:
In Pakistan, the information technology sector is one of the sector which is moving faster it
contributes 1% in GDP at about $3.5 billion us dollars. Many people doubt the growth of the
IT sectors in the past four to five years but experts say that it will grow up to $7 billion within
two to three years. From 2019 to 2020 it was the downfall of Pakistan's economy but the IT
sector of Pakistan is growing at that time too. It is one of the countries which is providing

top-notch services in the market at a very affordable price. This information technology
changes the structure of knowledge society and economy. Information technology is one of
the key things which can uplift the economy of Pakistan. The IT sector of Pakistan is creating
something new and innovative for the development of the economy, they are creating
software according to their preferences, freelancing. Pakistan comes at 4 th number in the
development od freelancing and IT export in the world which grow up to 70% in last two
years.
The worth of Pakistan software export is about $700 million according to the state bank of
Pakistan(SBP). On the other hand, Pakistan earning $1.2 billion in freelancing which is not
registered in the central bank of Pakistan.
The organization in which I was doing my internship is also a software house where they
provide software according to the needs of the organization, working not only in Pakistan but
also in different foreign continents.

Chapter 2:
2.1 Introduction:
Omegatronix is an IT-based company that is providing mobile applications, digital
marketing, graphic designing, content writing, search engine marketing, sound and video
engineering, and web development. They are not only providing services in Lahore but also
helping globally across 5 continents of the world. They work as a bridge between the
organization and the new technology. They are providing different software according to the
need of that specific organization.
to take any work they firstly do market research to see how many possible outcomes are there
and which one is the best for the client after doing the first step they do their strategic
planning to do their best after completing the task they also do after services to make their
client completely satisfied. Up till now, they have completed 187 project tasks.

2.2Brief history of the company:


Omegatronix is based company that first started as a website with no physical appearance in
market the company was started by a person named Hamza Anwar in 2016 then he take a
pause and again started working on this company which now have a physical appearance in
johar town, f block

2.3Vision mission:
The company onegatronix has a vision of providing the best IT infrastructure to those
organizations how are still using manual records, in 21 century. They are acting as a bridge to
those how are not familiar with the new methods and ways to control the whole system. They
are not only providing software but also having training, leadership program and certification
to those who learn to thrive.
The mission of this company is “your path to IT digital solutions”

2.4 Product line:
The company in which I was doing my internship is a software house where they are
providing different services some of them are.
BOP helps the call center services to keep in check with the cost. They are also providing
mobile apps both for ios and android. Their services include graphical designing, which
helps different organizations design or upgrade their websites. Content writing they are
providing eye-catching content to their customers so that they can put it officially. Sound
and video editing, omegayronix helps in editing advertisements and also responsible for
their animations in this department of services. They are also providing digital marketing
services and CRM services

2.6 Competitor Analysis:
As we all know that in this time IT sector is one of the departments in Pakistan which is
growing very fast as a result of its success the competitor is also getting stronger and to do its
best to cover the whole market some of the IT organization who are providing same services
as omegatronix as following:

Web souls: they are like omegatronix providing the services of web development where they
not only make a website but also make those softwares which helps them to run smoother like
a pro. They also provide their customers' security services and those softwares which can
manage traffic on web sites result, no lagging.
Software solution:
Like omegatronix, they also give services of mobile apps and web designing. On their
websites, they said that they have 13+ years of experience with that they provide a varity of
different web designs according to the customer demand.
Web net:
There are many companies in Pakistan who are providing the same services as omegatromix
do. One of the other competitor is web net. They also provide their services all over Pakistan
some of their services are digital marketing as a service where they promote others on social

media. Graphical designing in this field they are providing mobile and web apps, animations
and, corporate identity, etc. they believe that this is another way to market brands.

Chapter 3:
3.1 Brief overview of the function of the company:
Omegatronix is the software house providing different and advance services to the
organization according to their demand. They are acting as a bridge between the technology
and those organization who still doing their major work manually when this sector of
technology is moving very fast nowadays. They are trying to make top-notch products and
also give after selling services so that they can convince and able to take feedback from their
customers as the result they can fill the gaps if needed. They are also located internationally
in different areas of the world so, that they can provide their services not only in Pakistan but
also in different continents of the world

3.2 Human Resource policies of the company:


They have general human resource policies which every company have like

 leaving policies
 drugs policies
 punctuality
 report daily bases of work
 some times they have to change their policies due to certain projects like some
projects have security issues so they have to increase their security online like no
mobiles allowed during the meeting etc.

3.3 Marketing Strategies of the company:


Omegatronix uses different marketing strategies according to the project and they try to opt
for those strategies which are perfect according to their customers. Some of their strategies
which are used by them mostly are following:

 SEO
 Project hunting

If we talk about a decade ago many companies do their marketing on television but with the
drastic change in technology, people switch from television to social media and many
companies nowadays use social media to advertise. Omegatronix is also one of those
companies which use social media as a platform where they can promote their work and let
people know about the new technologies of the world which make people's lives easier. They
believe that through social media they can communicate easily and convey that message
which they want to convey. They reach out to their customer through emails, buying data
from different organizations. They also use LinkedIn profiles to cover the major area of the
market As they are not located locally in Pakistan they are also located on different
continents of the world. So, to promote their work and enhance their business they also use

project hunting. As they are also located overseas they do project hunting means they have
middlemen who provide them different projects from different countries. Moreover, this
company also does organic marketing which means any marketing which is not paid.
Furthermore, they use SEO with the increase in technology, brand, and knowledge of people
regarding their specific needs it is getting harder to manipulate people to use a specific
product for a long time despite all of this problem search engine optimizer is the best to
advertise any product because whenever the customer search any product related to this they
can find our advertisements. This advanced method is using in many organizations one of
these organizations is omegatronix.

3.4 SWOT Analysis:


It is the analysis of the organization to understand the organization's strengths, opportunities,
threats, and weaknesses normally organizations do this to evaluate themselves. So, that they
can make better strategies to opt or neglect situations.
Strength:
 They have a growing business and have the potential to learn more about upcoming
technology.
 They work on their presentation, as a result, the customer can not able to say no
 They provide a variety of services and also do customization as per need

Weakness:
 They are offering basic services to their customers. They should include more
diversities in their services, there are many other companies how are doing better than
this company.
 They feel difficulty working on ios programs, cloud computing because in Pakistan
they can not able to find experts in these programs
Opportunities:
 With the increase in the demand for technology, this company has a chance to grow
and improvise in their services to attract more people as usual.

Threat:
 As there is an opportunity of increasing demand in IT sectors there will be increasing
of competitors, who are trying to cover large market areas by giving best services as
they can.
 They are offering limited services if they will not include more services with time.
That thing can become a threat for this company

3.5 PESTEL Analysis:


Companies do pestel to analyze the risk and opportunities in the market. They do pestel to
make better strategies according to the environment.

The policies which can affect omegatronix are taxation policies, trading policies, fluctuation
in the prices regarding their services, benefits for employees, political stability, and product
labeling.
Economical:
The economical factor that can affect the company growth or help them to grow is following

 The intervention of government in IT sectors


 Rate of unemployment, as a result, feel difficulty to find the true talent
 The growth of this IT sector also depends on the rate of interest people have in this
area.

Society ways and attitudes regarding certain things impact the organization

girls

These all things can affect the whole organization if they have diversity they can able to make
better decisions and creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset can make a company thrive
Technology:
Technology is increasing day by day and especially during this pandemic many people need
softwares and as a result, the demand for this technology is increasing. With that, the
company can earn more profit. So, omegatronix can include more services to grow business.

 Rate of change in prices according to the structure of applications

Environmental:
Companies do this factor to know that the things they are providing can make a profit in this
area or not. Every company has some rules and regulations regarding their environment
which also complement society. And this effect can also affect the organization. Omegatronix
also do some work for the environment although their work is environmentally friendly

3.6 CSR of organization:


The company is linked with the RR welfare society they do medical campaigns not only in
Lahore but also in different cities

During covid, they provide maximum 2500 kits ( bodysuit ) to the government hospitals.
They also provide pollution awareness

4.1 Brief overview of the main business processes that the internee worked
around:
OMERGATRONIX is responsible for providing advanced technology they are providing
different services to the organization. The organization in which I was doing my internship is
not only located locally in Pakistan but also located in 5 different continents of the world,
they are trying to enhance their business to know more about different upcoming technology
and provide services for the development of the economy. In Pakistan, most of the people are
giving their services online through freelancing, and this organization providing them
different softwares which can make their work easier. They are trying to help different
organizations to manage a lot of work in less time than possible. Technology is one of the
things which can help our economy to develop and this company providing their services to
contribute. This software is providing different services some of them are given below. They
also make some changes in the process of making software as per the demand of the specific
organization.

As a marketing strangest I worked with this company and they make us work on a lot of
different strategies as the result I learn how they analyze the market first before making any
decisions. When any organization asks them for making any software they firstly come to

know what they want and if they are missing something they tell them that this function will
also help you in the future and if the customer agrees with that they make the software and
prefer to take feedback for the evaluation of the team, they also provide after-sales services to
gain the customer satisfaction. They have done with almost 100 plus projects and provide try
to give them as much as best services as they can.

4.2 brief overview of various departments that the internee had the
opportunity to observe:
The organization in which I was doing my internship is offering different programs because
they want people to thrive in the future. Some of their programs are following.
 Content writing
 Designing
 Marketing
 Business development
 Programing
 Virtual assistance
Their I found different opportunity in which I can learn and develop my skills. In Content
writing, I had an opportunity to learn how to be more creative and make eye-catching content
so that it is inevitable for the customer not to see the full document. I have a bit of interest in
sketching and designing so there is was an opportunity to learn how to make attractive
websites. The main thing which every organization teaches you is how to manage work in the
teams this organization gives me chance to improve my leadership qualities. I was working as
a marketing strategist so, if we talk about my program I learn how to do business analytics
before making software for the organization, learn different ways in which we can do
marketing and promote our services to the world.
Then there are furthermore programs which are offered by them like how to develop business
in this developing world and how to use different strategies so that they work as well as they
can. They are also providing further programs like Virtual assistance, There are two
different types of virtual assistance one is a person directly communicate with the customer
and the second one is, have an updated version of it that is artificial intelligence which
automatically communicates with the customer. I have an opportunity to learn both of the
methods to communicate with people and persuade them on something. Moreover, there were
a lot of opportunities in which a person then thrives in his future, if they do not have a chance
to learn too much in life.

4.3personal experience as inters:


Discoveries or observations:
As I started working with that organization, the first thing that comes to my mind is that
bookish knowledge is way different than this practical life Yes, I agree that books provide
knowledge but they only provide basic knowledge without any strategy or situation. They are
unable to teach us what to do in specific situations. This internship teaches me about who the
industry work and how to handle different situations, they teach me that there is always a way
to do something so, stop thinking about the problems and start thing about the solutions we
will find thousands of ways to solve that one small solution. They teach me that how much

important it is to understand the customers because if we don’t know our customers we are
unable to satisfy our customers. Furthermore, as I doing my work in that organization I learn
how to handle pressure and they also give me an opportunity to work on my leadership
qualities. I started working in an organization named omegatronix, they allow me to work as
a marketing strategist and there is a whole new experience because they do most of their
marketing online, and before doing that they do the whole survey of their audience and
market to decide which strategy will be good for them. According to their decision, they start
working on their projects. After done with that they also give them after-sale services which
tells me how much customer is important to them.
Problem identify:
The main problem which I identify is this pandemic which disturbs everyone's life is the
problem of communication. But they tackle everything very well. They communicate and
understand their interns.
Overall the experience of doing my first internship is very good but the problem which I have
to encounter is to interact with employees but with time I am getting better at it. The thing
which I observe due to a lot of work pressure in this pandemic he missed meetings as a result
we are unable to ask some queries. In the starting days of my internship, I feel difficult to
understand the way they work and how to execute but with time I learn a lot of things
Most challenging task:
During my internship, I did expect that I will find some problems because that was my first
time in practical life. The organization in which I am doing my internship is a software house
so they sell services after analyzing the organization and market. So, as marketing strategists,
they asked us to make strategies after analyzing the industry on of the work is how we can
attract smokes and web kind of website colour attract them for that our group have to do a
survey and then make some strategies and the second challenging task was to make a
business analytical report because I never make that before so I also find it difficult. They
also said to approach people on LinkedIn which was also a challenge for me.
Moreover, when you face difficulties you always learn from them as I was doing an
internship, I learn how to interact with employees, how to make good communication, and
most important I learn before making any kind of strategy we must do both industry and
organization analysis. As I told you before that this organization is a software house so that
they provide different services per customer demand so the organization in that thing I learn
how to communicate with them and how to satisfy them by giving after-sell services

Personal account of an interaction:


No, there is no personal interaction of mine, the organization which I choose is a software
house without any references I believe that we should interact with new people because
through them we can have a chance to see this world from another perspective. I believe that
if we interact with a lot of people we can improve the way of communication and the word
we use because words leave their stain for a long time “words matter”

In a matter of fact, I love to interact and talk with different people and love to know that what
they think about different things as I am a student of the business department I must know
how to interact and communicate effectively. This organization gives me an opportunity to be
better in my communication skills. Now I am confident that I can work with a lot of different
people easily. I am doing my specialization in human resources so over there I need
leadership skills, I need interactive communication skills so that I can convince people on
different things. So that I prefer to work all alone.

Chapter 5:
Future recommendation:
In this pandemic not only does my organization have to face difficulties but every single
organization is facing different kinds of problems one of them is less availability, as a result,
they miss their visit so if they do they tell people to guide us with our queries. As I work in
omegatronix I saw some gaps on which they can work and make a good reputation in the
market. Firstly they provide limited information on their website and they did not provide any
history regarding their achievements and how and when they started this organization. Also,
they did not work on their mission or vision statement they also work on that too to make a
good impression on their customers as the vision statement is very vague they should provide
some legit information too about their upcoming work. As I was working in that organization
I did not see much diversity in that organization. I saw a lot of males working in that
organization and only a few women are working in that organization as a girl will prefer that
the women should have an opportunity to work in the organization I suggest they must have
some diversities because It will not only help employees to be more creative but also help the
organization to make better decisions. Different people having different experiences with
different ways of thinking help an organization to make innovative decisions.
I observed that they did not have a big team force so there is also a problem of turnover. They
must give them some perks and keep them motivated to do better work because, in this
pandemic, everyone is facing some kind of pressure so we must understand and try to work
together. To make them motivated we can give them that task which is clear to them and
achievable. They can also make their office environment friendly so that a new person can
feel it home and can work over there comfortably because I observe while working in
omegatronix they have a very tense environment. If they try to make it friendly they can
create more room for creativity and innovation.
A lot of services which is offered by them are written above in chapter 4 ( 4.1: a brief
overview of a business process) they can grow with that business if they give training section
properly to their employees by that they can offer their employees variety of work. As a
result, their employees can work in different fields and never get demotivated.
During my research or many projects in my bachelor's degree, I saw many websites which
there is virtual assistance present to help us if we need but omegatronix does not have any
services like this on their website. So, if they are able to do some improvisation on their
website it will not only help their customers to know them better but also helps them to
enhance in their business.

Chapter 6:
6.1 Gap of classroom learning and experiential learning:
After doing an internship in an organization I can tell you that there is a great difference
between both classroom learning and experiential learning. Many people think that if they get
highly qualified, no one will stop them to achieve success, not wrong in a scene but if you see
those people how are experienced they know well how to tackle problems in a better way
than a person how only have bookish knowledge. Experiential learning and classroom
learning both are very important in the practical field we can not say that without getting a
degree we can or experience we can thrive, no we will not. There is a saying “hard work is a
key to success” to thrive we should put our heart and soul into both learnings and learn from
our mistakes
If I talk about classroom learning the professor teaching only the content which is present in
the book as a result they are unable to learn method or process to do a specific work. They
just sit in the classroom for 1.5 hours and the professor feeds them with as much as
knowledge he can feed in that time horizon. During that time students get fed up and unable
to learn that knowledge as a result they distract which phones and friends etc.
Despite that, if I talk about experiential learning students get a chance to learn practically in a
specific method and process. As they also help you to improve you skills which can not be
done in a classroom of 45 students. During my internship, I learn how to make a business
analytical report, how to do a survey, how to do be empathetic with customers, and how to
make them satisfied with our services. This is research a student can not forget that thing
which he done with his hands and which he watches. Overall this type of learning teachers us
minor thing which is very important but can not be learned in the classroom. This is a trial
and error thing means we learn through our mistakes and with that, we can be the master of
our field.
The gap between this classroom and experiential learning can be reduced only if the
education system corporate. If they try to make some experimental studies for example the
thing which we are studying should have a practical form. If they are able to apply that
method in our education system then the students will not only learn but also will not find
ways to distract themselves. if our instructors design an experimental situation and teach
students then they will learn the complex method in minutes.
I know switching from classroom learning is very difficult but if we do some effort for the
future of Pakistan we will not regret that. Everything in this world is possible the thing which
we need is to believe in ourselves. as I told you that the experiential learning is more effective
than classroom learning. So, if I told you my preference of learning I will go with experiential
learning.

Conclusion:
Overall my experience during this internship is exquisite. My degree gives me a chance to go
and work practically and learn those skills which are mandatory to be a successful person. Is
internship gives me an opportunity to get familiar with the practical environment. Moreover,

omegatronix gives me a chance to learn how to work under pressure, they make me very
comfortable in a very short time span. Furthermore, I face some difficulties during this
internship like when they miss visits, as a result, I was unable to ask some questions
regarding the task. But there is a say that “every coin has a flip side” so, as I said that I learn
things but that I also have to face some difficulties with it. I do not know much about this
field but as I started doing my research on this report I come to know how much this IT
department is growing faster especially in this pandemic.
I also come to know about their competitors who are giving the same services.
