What is history?

History is the study of the past.

History is the study of the past – specifically the people, societies, events and
problems of the past – as well as our attempts to understand them. It is a
pursuit common to all human societies

History is the study of change over time, and it covers all aspects of human society. Political,
social, economic, scientific, technological, medical, cultural, intellectual, religious and military
developments are all part of history.

History is the study of past events. People know what happened in the past by looking at things
from the past including sources (like books, newspapers, and letters) and artifacts (like pottery,
tools, and human or animal remains.)

History is the study of the past, specifically the things, that happened before, that
changes over the course of time. Usually the study of history covers the things that our
ancestors do in the past. And also the development of aspects in the human society that
changes the life and situation of the people itself and the country that they do live in. Whether it
may be political, social, cultural, economic, technological development and etcetera.
