Situation: Recently the social media was buzzing around about social media influencers,
content creators or YouTubers being tax. Many people gave their opinions. Some say they are
in favor but some are not. Now, it is your turn. Is the government correct in imposing tax  on
social media influencers, content creators and YouTubers? Explain your answer. Submit your

In the rise of popularity of social media influencers, content creators and YouTubers,
Many people dreams to be one of them and some of them make it in this industry. The
government impose taxes to them since they can also acquires money.
In my perspective, being a social media influencers, content creators and YouTubers
needs to pay taxes because I perceive them as a career person since they gain money to
creating stuff online. Since our technologies and way of life constantly changing, numerous
job decline and incline like YouTubers. Since people nowadays use their phone regularly, the
rise of them is necessary for business. Theirs tons of advertisement in the internet one of the
example of it is from YouTubers and social media influencers. Since they are associated with
business, it is also another reason that they need to pay taxes. I think that is fair for other
industry since being a YouTuber gains a lot of money once they bloom or gain popularity.
Some YouTubers makes their YouTube for advertisement purpose and some are start being a
content creator then they will know create their own Business. For me, being YouTuber will
never be a career for me for the reason that it is a high risk, high return occupation. Some
YouTuber popularity lasted with some point of time and a very few of them stays. It is career
that is not stable since you need to have fresh ideas and hope on the trend so that their
followers remains.

To conclude, social media influencers, content creators and YouTubers is like a self-
employed businessperson they both need to sell their products or service
