Modern technology has enhanced various forms of communication in several ways. Technologies like social media and videoconferencing have made communication easier by reducing barriers of time and distance. This benefits different aspects of society including business, education, and international relations. It also helps those with social anxiety who may find virtual communication less intimidating than face-to-face interactions. While informative communication aims to share information, persuasive communication has the added goal of convincing people of a belief or viewpoint. Persuasive communication requires more preparation as it must include credible evidence and details to gain the audience's belief in the message. It is therefore considered a more challenging form of communication than informative.

1. In what ways can the different forms of communication ( intrapersonal,
interpersonal, small group, public and mass) be enhanced with the aid of technology? Many modern forms of electronic communication have emerged as a result of technological advancements, such as social networking websites and videoconferences. Through this advancements, different forms of communication becomes so much more easier. With the rise of electronic communication, time and distance have become less of a barrier to communication. Many aspects of society, including business, education, and foreign relations, have benefited from this. This also includes our intrapersonal communication and doesn’t only limit on a social interaction. In this case many of us have fear to interact with other people that is why they keep everything on themselves. These modern means of communication have made it easier for those people who have difficulties to join the world of communication. A shy person may not have to bear as much of a face-to-face interaction as they would have before the advent of modern technology.
2. What is the difference between an informative communication and a persuasive
communication? Which do you think is more challenging in terms of preparation and delivery?
Communication is made with different purposes and delivered according on what
type does a person wants it to be delivered. This is sometimes informative, persuasive, and argumentative. Informative way of communicating shares information, but this also includes asking. This needs receiver’s attention to understand the topic discussed. Even though it is intended to deliver information , it can also be engaging in a way the speaker makes it as it is. Unlike informative communication, persuasive has a greater aim. It is not only intended to give information, but it is intended to persuade or convince people to believe in the information you are giving. It is usually entertaining because it has a purpose. This needs more proof and detail to make the receiver believe in the legibility of the information that the speaker gives. This type gives importance to the speaker’s credibility on how he/she will persuade the audiences. The speaker needs a lot of strategies to make it more possible. When it comes in choosing which one is more challenging, I will choose the persuasive communication because it doesn’t only focuses to inform the audience, but it also needs proofs and verified information to be more believable and legit to make the audience believe. In this type, a speaker can say that the communication is successful if the audience were persuaded and believes on the information he/she delivered.
