PHILOSOPHY OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The history section traces a progression from pre-industrial communities where most
trips were made on foot to present urban regions marked by dominance of the private
automobile with consequent decline in public transit and increased congestion.

Need of mobility in large metropolitan areas cannot be resolved by automobiles
because of the space and environmental problems.

There is also a need for energy conservation.

Today's cities need good public transit which is ensured by integrating transport and
town planning, by assuring that transit can share roadways with private transport
until a point is reached where new infrastructure must be developed for transit;

by organizing finance to produce sufficient resources for operation and investment;
and by achieving proper organization for transit and coordinating it with all other
phases of urban planning.

Biaya ABK menjadi alasan penting untuk mengganti bendera.

Peringkat ukuran ekonomi Indonesia meningkat terus.
– Apakah akan makin banyak kapal berbendera asing beroperasi di
Indonesia?
– Aturan jumlah ABK seberapa jauh bisa dipertahankan?

Teknologi:
– Jumlah ABK berkurang

Konsekuensi:
– Peraturan pengelolaan kapal Indonesia di masa depan bagaimana?
