 Maintaining the low cost for the raw material, labor, distribution and administration
overhead
 Increase transportation cost due to lack of road infrastructure and dispersed location of

 Akshay Patra was unable to achieve economies of scale through the vendor relationship and
administration
 Ensuring the time of transportation to avoid spoilage of food
