Eligible Countries
Procurement Reference Number: W/16/NCB/OC/GOE/2008 EFY

All countries are eligible except countries subject to the following provisions.
A country shall not be eligible if:
(a) As a matter of law or official regulation, the Government of the Federal Democratic
Republic of Ethiopia prohibits commercial relations with that country, provided that the
Government is satisfied that such exclusion does not preclude effective competition for
the provision of the works required; or
(b) By an act of compliance with a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken
under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, the Government of the Federal
Democratic Republic of Ethiopia prohibits any procurement of works from that country
or any payments to persons or entities in that country.
