SUBJECT PRONOUNS

Es usado en inglés:

1. Cuando es el sujeto de la oración, ejemplo: She went to Los Angeles.


2. Después del verbo to be, ejemplo: It is he in the picture.
3. Cuando los sujetos de dos oraciones son comparados, ejemplo: We are better
than they are at baseball.
4. Después de la palabra “as” y “that”, ejemplo: They say that she controls me; He
is not as resourceful as she is.

OBJECT PRONOUNS

Es usado en inglés:

1. Cuando es objeto directo de la oración, ejemplo: She gave him her card, we saw
her in class.
2. Cuando los objetos de dos frases se están comparando, ejemplo: She worries
about you more than him, the office staff helped you more tan they helped me.
3. Después de preposiciones, ejemplo: Mauricio studies english with us.

EXERCISE
Corrige los pronombres en las oraciones, si es necesario.
1. Could you please explain this excercise to her.
2. Jhon sat between helena and I.
3. She went with they to the movies.
4. He understand her better than him.
5. Between you and I, I did not like the food.

POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES

Es usado en inglés:

1. Para indicar pertenencia, ejemplo: Look my pictures, He left his book on the
table.
2. Refiriéndose a partes del cuerpo, ejemplo: He broke his leg yesterday, she
raised her hand.
3. Para modificar un gerundio o antes de una palabra en inglés que termina en
“ing”, ejemplo: The teacher was irritated at my whispering in class, we were
surprised at her going on a trip alone.

Escribe en el espacio en blanco el adjetivo posesivo correcto en inglés.
