In 1959, Dr. Aijaz Hassan Qureshi began a journey of excellence after returning from

Germany with a PhD. He launched Urdu Digest which served as the onset of an

extraordinary journey forward. Urdu Digest became Pakistan’s most circulated publication

due to its engaging content pertinent to attentive and thoughtful editorials and subject matters.

Roshan Enterprises launched in 1989 to export Pakistan’s fruits to the world and was a

pioneer and forerunner in recognizing the potential in Pakistan’s fruit crops. At this time, fruit

an in-house packaging unit. In 2002, Roshan Packages Limited was established to meet

internal demand for Corrugated Packaging. After this momentous initiation, the company

grew exponentially and established European Flexible Packaging and Co-extruded Film

4.3 Internee Experience

4.3.1 Observation during internship
In my internship short tenure of 6 weeks I made observations starting from welcoming a new
intern. To having inspiration and motivation from each employee and their analysis in
standard decision making. Employees are working under strict rules and regulations but
working under this pressure the burden is shared among employees and appropriate
performance is recognized. Employees are honored and treated as a family.

4.3.2 Problems Identified

 No SOPs for the third-party contracts.

 4.3.3 Personal Account of Interaction

It was to my surprise how calm the atmosphere of the company is. No hustle and bustle, no
grudges among employees and no politics and also the most importantly individual respect
everyone possess is very impressive. That I think is quite good in this company. The way of
talking of seniors is really polite to me, because I observe many times seniors are treating me
very nice every time. They share their experiences while teaching rules which they had
learned. I really was not singe time made a feel that I am still an undergraduate student.

4.3.4 Skills learned

The skills I analyze is the interpersonal talents in terms of interacting expert with the seniors
and colleagues as well as dealing with quires. Moreover, my communication skills got
improved as you not only communicate internally with management but externally also like
the employees. Most importantly I have realized the importance of team work and
collaboration because as a part of a team you can recognize every strength and weakness and
cover all the aspects that are needed to be resolve.

4.3.5 Most challenging task:

As an internee, it was not easy to handle the challenges in the company. There very a lot of
tough operations that are to be handed with the most cautious and delicateness because if any
work or result is not precise enough it can create malfunction in a certain process. Finance
analysis was quite difficult and challenging task for me as an internee because it contains a
lot of processes and operations in it that were quite difficult to handle. Moreover, the other
challenge was to conduct surveys by which we can identify the weakness of company and in
which areas it is lacking. This was a tough task because a lot of information was needed to be
gathered to handle the situation and to create best possible strategies.
