TUTORIAL SESSION :
My objectives : - Help the learners to plan for and write about their future careers.
-The PPS practice some vocabulary related to the topic.

Stage one:
 Before starting off , the teacher invites his PPS to work in groups and list down all the jobs they
know. .
Stage two
A)The teacher writes the questions below on the board then invites all the PPs to discuss them and
think about the answers:
What was your deam when you were a child?
What do you consider to choose a job ?
What’s your plan ,now?

B)During the discussion ,the teacher may elicit /write on the board some helpful vocabulary :
For me a good job should / be well paid /be useful / not be boring and monotonous / include
possibilities to travel / allow me to be my own boss / ...
I hope I will choose a profession that will satisfy me, challenge me and bring me joy. I believe that a job
should be like a hobby. I hope I won´t be dissatisfied and bored with my job.
I am sure I never want to work as a ......
I am still unsure what to do in my life because ......../ It´s not easy to decide what I´d like to do because...
I have decided with the help of my parents that I would like to .......
Salary is of secondary importance in choosing a job. Of more value to me is ..........

C) Using ‘‘ Three steps interview ‘‘ strategy, the PPS ask each other these quesions in a front of their
classmates
How to do this strategy:

1-Place students into groups of three.

2-Assign each student a role: Interviewer, interviewee, note-taker.

3-Rotate roles after each interview.

4-Have students take turns sharing the information that they recorded when they were the note-taker.

Stage Three
Teacher : Here are some answers to the 1st question that need to be completed . Work in small groups
(4 /6 PPs) to guess and find some suitable words.

How important is the salary in choosing a job ? What is more important to you- to dislike your job and
earn a lot of money or, on the contrary, enjoy your work and earn less money ?
Did the school prepare you well for the future studies / job ?
How are you going to celebrate your passing the graduation exam ?
What are your plans for the summer holidays ? Have you got any part-time job for summer ?
Are you rather an optimist or a pessimist?
