Subject-Verb Agreement
Most basic sentences are made up of three parts – subject, verb, and object
Example: Housekeepers clean the hotel.

Point to note:
In the third person singular (He/She/It) – the verb always ends with s/es
He thinks, She wants, He gives, Mr. Smith needs, Mrs. Rose eats
To make a negative sentence we use Don't or Doesn't + verb (Except!! To Be and Modal verbs (can,
might, should etc.).
I don't speak Arabic.
John doesn't speak Italian.
We don't have time for a rest.
It doesn't move.
