Subject-Verb Agreement
Most basic sentences are made up of three parts – subject, verb, and object
Example: Housekeepers clean the hotel.

Point to note:

 In the third person singular (He/She/It) – the verb always ends with s/es

He thinks, She wants, He gives, Mr. Smith needs, Mrs. Rose eats

 It rains a lot in July.

 To make a negative sentence we use Don't or Doesn't + verb (Except!! To Be and Modal verbs (can,
might, should etc.).
 I don't speak Arabic.
 John doesn't speak Italian.
 We don't have time for a rest.
 It doesn't move.

Scenarios:

Mr. and Mrs. Jones have just arrived at the hotel, and you are the first person to meet them. Greet them,
introducing yourself and another colleague who will assist them with (Checking-in/Carrying their
luggage/Planning their travel itinerary)
