To Whom It May Concern,

It is my immense pleasure to recommend one of the most capable, smart and ambitious people I
have ever had to pleasure to work with,Oruj Maharramli,for the admisson to your university.I
know Oruj for four years and as the Local Committee Vice President of Finance Department of
AIESEC in Azerbaijan he has shown great leadership and teamwork quailities and I can honestly
say that he shaped up to be a role model not just for the Executive Board, but for every AIESEC
member.

I first met him in the autumn of 2014, when he joined Outgoing Exchange Department of
AIESEC in Azerbaijan as an external participants manager and immediately he made a great
impression,as the type of person who can motivate all the people in the room to strive for
excellence.As I got to know him better, I discovered that besides having a great sense of
humor,he also had great AIESEC knowledge, even functional knowledge on most of the areas
and incredible learning and leadership capabilities. After a few months I was promoted to be
country manager of AIESEC in Azerbaijan and Oruj,under my supervision did a lot of great
jobs,for example he assisted me to organize national and international conferences and creating
various economic and social projects.One of our first projects was the autumn edition of
"Grow".The project team had some difficulties but Oruj, managed not only to motivate both
teams to go on ,but he also got involved wherever help was needed,from class presentations to
EP buddy(providing accommodation for international students coming to Azerbaijan in order to
be 3-month intern in different projects),he lend a hand in almost every activity. "Grow" turned
out to be great success and was one of the greatest editions of the project for that autumn in
Azerbaijan,however,that would not have been possible with Oruj Maharramli.

His great interest in financial and economic issues and tasks helped him to become financial
internal auditor and consultant of our organization and as a financial auditor he has some duties
and responsibilities such as analyze data and processes, ensure reliable financial/management
reports, safeguarding of assets and provide recommendations and insights for the establishment.
On his 12-month anniversary with AIESEC in Azerbaijan, he was promoted to the position of
Local Committee Vice President of Finance Department because of his professional
achievements in the position of financial auditor. This promotion was a direct result of his
contributions to the organization`s successful partnership with multinational financial and
auditing companies such as PwC and Deloitte as well as his exemplary performance review. As a
LCVP of Finance Department, Oruj has a vital role in the maintaining a strong system for
financial control of our organization and he has also assisted me and other LCVPs in making
financial decisions. He managed a team of 7 hard-working people as he provided guidance,
support, and training as necessary to ensure the smoothness of the transition and to improve the
motivation, morale, satisfaction of these members on his team.His some duties involve
improving financial situation and advance strategies, preparing monthly/quarterly financial
statements(income statement,balance sheet and cash flow) and creating reports about Risk
management and investment,while reported me all his operations he has done for each
month.Consequently,our organization was ameliorated in terms of finance associated to his
strong quantitative and analytical knowledge in some important financial areas. During his three
year tenure at our organization, he has single handed managed some of the important and
rewarding projects, and his decisions in financial matters has helped the Local Committee to
improve its financial sustainability.

I consider Oruj a valuable member of our organization and would like to see him get the
additional education he needs to progress in his financial and economic career. I think he would
be a good fit for your program and would be able to contribute in numerous ways.If you desire to
