Plan: Technology Tool Comparison

To use this resource:

This document is in Microsoft Excel format to allow you to add, edit, or remove
columns to suit your needs. It is currently populated with example data (in red font) to
show you the kinds of information you might want to consider. Remove the example
before using the tool to ensure an accurate tally of Yes responses.

Notes:

• Categories and Features - Examples of the features of collaboration tools that

your CoP may want to compare are listed here. You may not want or need to use all
features listed or you may want to add additional points.

You can right click on a row number and click "insert" to add rows in between those
that exist to maintain the same format/functionality.

• Notes - You can use the Notes field to comment on the functionality within the
particular tool. This may help you remember the specific differences between tools.
• Included? - This field is for you to note whether the tool you're reviewing has the
listed feature. Options are Unknown, Yes, No, and Not Applicable.
• Totals - These rows count the number of "yes" answers for each tool, showing
which tool "wins" for the category.
