CLASS DESCRIPTION
The students in this class are aged between 11-12 and, although they are not in the
first year of English, their level of grammar and vocabulary is rather basic. They have
shown enthusiasm and they seem keen on learning new things. If properly motivated
and stimulated, they are able to remain engaged throughout the class. They still have
problems of pronunciation, but they make efforts to take part in the teaching-learning
process.

AIMS:
to assess Ss' knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary
to develop Ss' writing skills.
OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
use their knowledge of the English grammar to solve exercises
use their knowledge of the English vocabulary to solve exercises
complete different tasks requested in the test, like choosing from a given list
the right nationality, complete a dialogue about introductions, match the jobs to
their descriptions, fill in the right indefinite article, circle the correct pronoun
or complete the gaps with the correct form of |'to be'.
PROCEDURE
● Activity 1: warm-up (2 min)
T enters the classroom, greets the Ss and asks them how they are, if there are
any Ss missing.

● Activity 2: Lead-in (1 min)
The teacher tells the students that they are going to have a test and gives them
the worksheets with the subjects.

● Activity 3: Vocabulary Practice (15 min)
The Ss have to complete three vocabulary exercises . For the first one , they
have to choose the right nationality from a given list. In the second exercise ,
they must complete the dialogue with the provided sentences. In the third
exercise, Ss have to match the jobs in left-hand column to their definitions in
right-hand column.
