“ The good building is not one that hurts the

landscape, but one which makes the landscape
more beautiful than it was before the building was
built.”
-Frank Lloyd wright

Renewable Energy Sources. Renewable energies (or renewables) are ways to generate energy from (theoretically) unlimited natural resources. These
resources are either available with no time limit or replenish more quickly than the rate at which they are consumed. Renewable energies are generally
spoken of as opposed to fossil fuel energies. The fossil fuels’ stocks are limited and non-renewable in the human timescale. The most known examples
of these resources are coal, oil or natural gas. On the contrary, renewable energies are produced from renewable sources. Here, we’re talking about
energy coming from solar rays, wind or water cycles – all theoretically unlimited on a human scale time.

Green Design.referred to the creation of energy-efficient infrastructure that is flexible and designed for long life. The primary objective is to have a
minimal effect on the environment and eco-system. The development of a green design requires great consideration in terms of material selection and
functionality without depleting natural resources.

Sustainable Design. more focused on minimizing the adverse impacts on the environment and improving the overall performance of the building. The
primary goal here is to consume a minimal amount of non-renewable resources, cut down waste, and develop a functional and productive environment.

Vertical Landscaping.improves indoor visual quality, reduces noise, improves indoor environments heavily by cooling, transpiration and photosynthesis
and increase biodiversity and connection to nature for healthier working environment.

Green Landscape Architecture. philosophy of architecture that advocates sustainable energy sources, the conservation of energy, the reuse and safety
of building materials, and the siting of a building with consideration of its impact on the environment.
Design Strategies
Renewable Energy Sources

• Grid-tied PV system for solar energy

-Reduce long-term energy cost, ability to generate on electricity to support high
consumption levels, reduce impact towards the environment.
• Highbrid hot water storage tank
-to manifest wasted energy to power other equipmentssuch as high airconditioner
consumption
• Light Efficiency
-LEDs are more efficient lighting alternatives.Good for long-term use.
• Rainwater Harvesting
-Maximation of rainwater harvesting to supply to existing water consuming
apppliances.Reducing locally sourced water and reducing water bill while encouraging
water recycling
(high precipitation rates=more water efficiency opportunity)
• Building area will apply and several different strategies that will prove fairly effective
as a climatically sustainable design although there will also many parts in which
climate will not consider or will not fully responsive too. This will proves the quality
and importance of designing sustainably in architecture.
What defines strategic landscaping?
Strategic Landscaping is achived only
when the strategies implemented prove to be
effective in tackling any of the following
issues;thermal comfort,surrounding temperature
Design and environments,user comfort,visual
quality,façade treatment etc. etc.
Strategies Therefore, planting trees around a building
would not prove
effective.Unless,otherwise,provides sunshading
in relation to sun angles in said climate.
Design Strategies
Green Landscape strategies throughout building space
❑ Vertical landscaping
-improves indoor visual quality, reduces noise, improves indoor environments heavily by
cooling, transpiration and photosynthesis and increase biodiversity and connection to nature
for healthier working environment
❑ Green Buffer Screening/Indoor planter box buffer filters
-provides high sunshading on large glazing facades which reduces Solar heat gain C- in the
interiors. Not only does that reduce cooling load,it also filters out unwanted exterior air
❑ Courtyard garden
❑ Roof terrace garden/integration
❑ Indoor planting near high heat facades
Strategic landscaping plays an important role on a much larger scale, and in the comfort
and health of users. As this spreads out to the larger open environment. It also contributes
heavily to the urban heat island effect and radiant temperatures

-are areas of vegetation growing directly on the facade of a building or on separate structural
systems; they are usually made up of modular units, vegetated mats, or trellises attached to
structural walls or frames.
-are aesthetically pleasing and sustainable, and they contribute to the greening of urban
settings by utilizing vertical surfaces: they enliven built-up commercial and office areas,
parks and public facilities, educational and health-care buildings, and retail shopping areas;
and they also bring additional color to eco-friendly buildings and their surroundings.
-are generally thought of as aesthetic additions, but as the technology used in them develops,
they may play a significant role in the future of sustainable urban environments

The Design Inspiration is propelled by the Boat history of Narvacan which it’s known
for being nearly high and dry just like Narvacan because of the mountain ranges and how
they protected the mountains where they've said that it is additionally portion of the gems
that Narvacan puts tall esteem on, since it is home to two well-known mountain ranges.

The frame of the watercraft(boat),basically symbolizes the history of Narvacan and on

how they protected their environment, although I didn’t take the form of the boat, I
affirmed it by its figurative word composition in making the plan for the New Narvacan
Hall in green and feasible plan and design.
